This is why advertising and marketing towards more than one audience is important for a business to expand and grow. If more people like the product that you’re making and selling, the more people will buy and it will benefit both the company and its employees. Even a small, local business can greatly benefit from foreigners buying what they’re selling.
@404Kiwi14 күн бұрын
While that is sometimes true it can also have the opposite effect and alienate your original target audience. I think the dad was right but for the wrong reasons. They were going way too fast in expecting and marketing. They just went nationwide and have yet to see a weeks results let alone a year. How TF are you going to decide to move internationally. It was a huge gamble that only paid off for the stories sake

Yashiki should of talk to his CEO, Yui instead of going behind her back. He cause unnecessarily damage to the company because he never take his work seriously. If it wasn’t for his son exposing him, the company would of suffer even more damages. Also, Yui should sue him for damages at the end of the story.

Even after that, I still can't see a valid reason on why Yashiki is so against expanding business overseas. It felt more like he's just being stubborn instead of thinking about the company.

In the old days, Japan was an isolated country and the Japanese were quite xenophobic at the time. But there was a Japanese warlord name Oda Nobunaga, who was fascinated with the Western Countries. He loved their food, alcohol, clothing and weapons. He was also fascinated by Christianity and was known to associate with Christian missionaries, even though he wasn’t a Christian but he did help the missionaries build churches because he didn’t like Buddhism. Nobunaga was an early adapter and the first to use European firearms in Japan. The use of firearms, instead of just swords, spears and arrows made him a formidable foe on the battlefield. In a way, Oda Nobunaga was a cultural rebel of 15th century Japan who brought Western cultures to Japan, despite their isolation and xenophobic views.

No that's normal for Japan. Keichi is actually the weird one. I also think he was wrong but he has to be the good guy. They expanded way too fast and made a huge risk that only worked because the story made it so. It doesn't work like this irl. I think the dad is correct but his reasoning was bad.

Fate of Yashiki : due to his jealousy, yashiki destroyed and ruined everything, yugo absolutely pissed off at his father angrily cut ties with him. Yashiki who still had his prideful attitude never felt remorseful for his mistakes and he simply resigned from the company and tried to start a new company while on the other hand Yugo took his father’s place in the company and the company became thriving not to mention that Yugo apologized to everyone for his father’s attitude and everyone in the company forgave him. Meanwhile Yashiki was now being trashed and abused by society because someone from his former company spread rumors about his actions and that is why he is being trashed by everyone. Yashiki’s wife upon hearing about her husband’s actions from the neighbors and Yugo, Yashiki’s wife furious at what her dumb stupid and selfish husband had done completely divorced him while Yashiki was also disowned by his family when they heard about the rumors. Yashiki now lives on the streets completely homeless, Yashiki was beaten regularly by delinquents and other passerby who heard the rumors. That was until Yashiki was captured by Baldi who made him answer all his impossible questions as a consequence for his actions but Yashiki would also get beaten by Baldi’s ruler if Baldi witnesses his math problems being answered wrong. That’s all folk

So, MC as taxi driver aside, the antagonist is really a prideful and selfish bastard until the end. He didn't just risk to *destroy* a whole company (because I'm pretty sure HE was the one to ask to the translator to ditch the CEO in the last minute...), but he also acted like if all he did...was just for the *good of the company* . Honestly, this bastard should consider himself lucky he didn't get sued for *obstruction of business* .

Afterstory: Due to jealousy and emotional, Yashiki ruined everything. His son Yugo is upset with him, so he cut ties with him. Still Yashiki never realized his own mistakes, he resigned and building his own company. On the contrary, Keichi is passionate about Japan and he treated everyone equally. It's no wonder why when he met the client name Arnold who's from French and also best buddy in college, they reunited with each other. Keichi tells Yui about how he met Arnold in college and they teach each other 's language, Yui was surprised to hear that. Since Yashiki quit, Yugo replace him and the company became thriving. Yugo apologised to everyone about his father, and they forgive him. As for Keichi, we can see he dated with Yui in the end. Extra: Rumours spread like a grapevine,Yashiki is being trashed by everyone. When his wife heard from the neighbours and Yugo, she immediately divorced him. He called Yugo for help, but he disowned his selfish father. Yashiki now works as a porter in the morning and works at the bread factory at night without resting, " Uh, this sucks." Whining Yashiki. Keichi on the other hand,he cooperative with his college buddy Arnold and also introduced him some Japanese food and culture. One day, Arnold asked Keichi if he can added the other foreign language so that the foreigners can understand the language. Keichi and Yui think this is a good idea, so they asked Yugo about the project and Yugo agree. Yui appreciate Keichi,so she wants hired him as a translator. In the end, Keichi quit being a taxi driver and continued working with Yui.

Yashiki should know that domestic market is only going to get the company far, but not too far. If a company only focus domestically for their product they are going to box themselves in with no way of expanding their market as they already dominate the domestic market while other companies that's in the same market as they are that focus on both domestic and oversea has more room since if the domestic market isn't doing well they have their oversea market to back things up. If Yashiki cause the company to no longer able to do oversea business and only able to do domestic business the company will self destruct as once they dominate the domestic market it will be too late for them to expand oversea, but since it's Yashiki who only want product that are made in Japan to stay in Japan he's going to cause the company to go bankrupt which will cause him to lose his job along with everyone in the company. When that happen the news of him causing every oversea business deal to end without starting is going to spread like wildfire which will cause him to be assign task that doesn't involve making new deals in companies that is willing to hire him.

But He Accused Me of Tricking Him…". what's yashiki's deal with overseas things? i sense some racist shit from this old fogey. i was kinda reminded of 4 months ago's clip called "The CEO of My Client Asked Me to Take His Daughter Out But She Called Me Poor! So…" mixed with 3 months ago called "I'm the Only One in the Company Who’s Fluent in English But I Got Demoted!".

I gotta side more with the dad on these. They are expanding way too fast. This is such a huge gamble. The dad was right imo but for the wrong reasons. How are you going to just barely expand nationwide and think you're read to start international. There's already so many stories in these manga channel where the antagonist tries to do just that and ends up ruining the company.

9:31 This line may seem like an argument about what targeted audiences they should aim for, but it can also be seen as a racial targeting. For example, "We should sell it domestically in Japan" vs. "We only sell to Japanese people." How to word it correctly is important for business, and with this situation where they have the opportunity to sell both domestically AND internationally, the antagonist has stopped acting for the sake of the company, but acted for the sake of his ideals.

It's about the older generation (Yashiki) is portraying a xenophobic person (Japanese product should stay in japan mentality) thinking. And then you have the younger generation (Yugo/keiichi) that see more potential connecting with the outside world to expand business. So it's not like there is anything wrong in thinking like we should expand/dominate Japans market. What is wrong is trying to sabotage the company growing globally.
@Ai.Why-SoloPlayer8 күн бұрын
On my pov, mr yashiki still didn't learn that much possibility in the bussiness growth tbh, so he decide just only thinkin so narrow and kind of simple. But the bussiness also need to be known global bcz you could extend the bussiness, and also profitable

Sorry but it was never mentioned what language he had to speak before she accepted. Literally feel like if she was real she was way to trusting without asking that question first. Or that even the MC would volunteer without first mentioning which languages he speaks... Also for someone to only want to be domestic and not tap into an international market wouldnt that mean he is actively trying to hold the company back for personal reasons over what is good for the company?
