Such a beautiful composition. What I love to see and is endearing to me is that throughout Aoifes' singing career it's this completely disarming way that Aoife has when she is so engrossed in the moment of the song and then opens her eyes as if almost to realise she's singing and how she smiles in a surprised recognition. It's just a beautiful moment. Now, the next thing for me would be a duet of Aoife and Anais Mitchell. Would that work?

This is an extraordinary song by one of my favorite singer-songwriters. The way the trumpets play so softly and in the lower register along with the trombones is something I’ve never heard before and the intricate rhythms keep it feeling lively. The B61 hook really got to me.

This is good sh*t - always worried about collaborations and Thile seems to doing some... well "explorational" work currently with his siblinged co-conspirators... this, this is nice. Turn them on to Graceland, existential rhythm and horns. This... this is well honed, I know it sounds gimpy but get these guys, some of Yours and do some Chicago. Or some Floyd - seem versatile. Also, howcome you guys haven't crossed over with Postmodern Jukebox yet? Perfect match, parallel audiences - bend them to Your will (like You did these poor horn bastards...) and do some Peggy Lee - melt a sax. Hell, Nina Simone and, if You want to be a goddess, get 'em All together and do "Sinnerman". lol... and you thought doing "Coyote" and "Teardrop" gave you a pass... You know what...? Good time for "Hotel California". Be a fight for that lead vocal... Jimmy Buffet. You were born for "Come Monday", need more Lightfoot too. And, for god's's sake, would somebody, Anythe*uckbody, cover anything by John Denver that Isn't "Country Roads"? He Never gets covered and was the best out of all of them. Some of Yours are that good. This, this was enjoyable, very pleasant surprise. Wonderful integration. Dude - do a Nanci Griffith Other Voices, Other Rooms, start with John Mayer, um, James Blunt, David Gray, chicks? Sky's the limit - Natalie Merchant, either or both The Indigos, the chick from The Innocence Mission is Priceless, never, ever, go wrong with Rickie Lee Jones - whole album, duet covers. One might hit. Um, whatshername, Norah Jones, Tori Amos would be Bold, Cyndi Lauper is underrated if... "encouraged" to stay beautiful, Colin Hay is still sharp. Hell, if You're really nice, I bet You could get Gilmour. And Bush.
