Hi I have been using my pendrive (16GB) as HRD disk where i installed Linux OS after my internal hard disk failed. Now there is no enugh space left for intalling other softare. I have another pendrive pf size 250gb. I want to transfer the OS intalled in my previous Drive (USB pendrive) to my new PENDRIVE of 250gb size so that i dont have to reinstall OS again in my new pendrive

Do we still need HDD to boot the System or we can get rid of the HDD from the PC and Boot / Use the new created Bootable USB....?

Of course you can choose to either boot from the HDD or the USB.

What kind of ideas you would like to know? According to your situation you can simply clone your drive A to B via a cloning tool and replace the drive, set the boot option and boot from it.

@@AOMEITech I should make it clear that I do not want to replace to Internal Drive with the External one. I want to boot Externally while having (or not having) an Internal Drive. This is what I am having difficulty with. When I try to boot from the External Drive, it gives either an "Inaccessible Boot Device" error or it boots up to the System Repair Screen. Basically, I want to know how to make what I want, possible/work.
