Excellent Presentation. But I have a note - as a cardiac surgeon - : IABP is contraindicated in cases of AI, The diastolic filling of the IABP will increases the magnitude of regurgitation and LV impairment So IABP is absolutely contraindicated in cases of AR. Second, Surgery is indicated in AR with LV EF < 55% not 50%. You can remember it easily by the role of 50 - 55 - 60 >>> 50% in AS, 55% in AR and 60% in MR (of course when the valvular lesion is sever and asymptomatic). BTW, IABP is of great importance in acute MR. Again, excellent presentation. Keep Up.
