Good question. I want to get it instead of the normal Gigabyte P750W, which is most commonly referred to as the IED (Improvised explosive device), because rather than protecting itself from the explosion caused by overpowering it, it explodes preemptively. You can watch various reviews on that, for example on Gamers Nexus. However, the new manufactured variants of it do not have such problem, which is discussed in the video made by Hardware Busters International. But even with that info in mind, I'm still cautious, so I would rather spend a bit more (about 10$), and get the AORUS model instead. A very good psu, even though the capacitors on the cables are not very useful, as capacitors with similar function are already in your motherboard... Still it is a very good psu.
