This was for sure best sce battle ever, no dragon stack, just some simple formations with great tactic maneuvers

Seeing the lists I was really worried about the Stormcast not having enough teeth but skillful plays (and some lucky dice rolls) can certainly go a long way!

there was a lot of luck un the dice rolls and gargants are in a bed spot in this edition.. I don't think that list can hold more competitive amrys..

There are some mistakes/misplays made by Jordan: - you can use smash to bits throwing terrain also on the opponent turn - you mixed king brodd prayers on the second turn, you have to choose between the king brodd stomp prayer lore (+1 attack on a 4+ or 2 attacks on a 8+) or the warscroll ones (5+ normal or 10+ enhanced) - always in the second turn, in order to use the wrath of god rampage you have to roll a 3+ and then again for the hero trait, unfortunately it’s not automatic - 27:45 you couldn’t use the same rampage two times, but the gatebeaker “pulverising strike” it’s an ability not a rampage. You could also use “smash down” ability to make some mortals As always great content by the way, thanks for this battle report!

@Brushedbym, I also noticed that despite taking the double turn by the SCE player in Battle round 4 (30:11), he still declared a battle tactic and scored the points for it at the end of his turn. Is this correct because I thought a BT can't be scored due to taking the double turn?

@@methodofinstruction1368 You would be right if it had been a double turn. It wasnt a double turn however, as the regular order was kept. All battle is has been SCE first turn, SoB 2nd turn.

Brodd can't pass over other monsters with long shanks, so I don't think the power through during turn 5 would have worked.

Also, casting ravanaks on a 6 is successful. As Arcanum has +1 to cast and banish manifestations…

Hey Ryan- you may want to check a few different spots for Stormcast list building. a bit with Stormkeep online may be a good starting point, and you can check Woehammer for inspiration as well to see what's been successful beautiful army, and a great guy. looking forward to your future lists as you grow as a player

Really nice Close Game. I think in Case of ties in Points the tiebreaker is If a general is alive. So yndrastra dead and King brodd alive. Correct me If i am wrong but SoB would have a minor Victory

For tiebreakers it's whoever has completed more Battle tactics. In this case I believe the Stormcast win if those X marks note battle tactics scored

No, it isn't. The charge roll is part of the declare step. So you can use it after you see the roll.

I think this was forgotten the entire game, but knight Arcanum gets +1 to cast manifestations. I don’t know if finest hour was ever used? Would have been good on Yndrasta for her first fight into the Mega. Also not sure what subfaction this SCE list is? Probably should go 3+ fight first on fulms. Fun game but SCE list is not good with no shooting, a lot of foot troops who don’t do anything, pretty much only two hammers. Obviously his first game of 4th and may have limited units.

I don't understand how you build the list : Thunderhead host says : warrior chamber units gets +1 to hit for other non-hero non warrior chamber units. the only unit that is not warrior chamber are the prosecutors and the fulminators. So, only two units will get the benefit of Thunderhead host. you probably could have at least two other non-warrior chamber units dropping the liberators wich are too expensive

Non-warrior unit gets no benefit but just gives buffs to nearby units. Sure you could go for 1-1 it doesn't neccessarily give more buffs. Just redundancy. 1 non-warrior unit can easily give buff to 2-4 warrior unit

@@bakuchidancer but your opponent will know that. He will focus on the or two units you have and suddenly, you will have to buffs at all from this anymore

@@maximem.ste-marie3578 It depends how you place them, you can have them behind in a safe spot and having small units you the enemy will have to allocate time and resources to take them out while the stronger units are alive.

@@SeasonofWar The army of renown have an additional prayer called High Expectations that gives an extra attack (2 extra on 10+ chant) You probably mixed it in with Brodds own one :p

@andreasgorander7316 correct, but the issue is that it was combined with his warscroll spell. You can't give the movement buff and the atk increase, it would need to have been the rend option
