Hey guys I'm new to Age of Sigmar "Your battle reports inspired me" & have started painting my first army. One question. I have a theme going on with my army certain colors. Let's say I'm done painting 2k points & Later down the road I wanna change units. Basically I'm wondering how do y'all remember the colors you used when adding new models to an already painted army?

Thanks for the kind words! Jarod's comment is spot on. We usually stick to a scheme for armor, and then vary each unit to be unique. Our dragon army is hallowed knights for all the riders, but the dragons are all different colors. Adds some variety to your army so every model stands out :)

@@BattleshockWargaming I thought overall it was very enjoyable watch. Jeremy and Jarod were fun and enthusiastic. It was clear that both new very experienced players with lumineth and Idoneth. For most part the rules were explained. There were only a couple of times where I thought a very brief explanation of a army/ability rule was missed and so I didnt quite understand what was happening. The cut away from the dice tray was a bit quick at times with impacted the drama of some of the rolls. But honestly minor points it a really well produced battle report.

Nice Batrep different yet good energy :) However I think you miss the rule of reaver getting +1 to hit when shooting in close range, like during an overwatch. Since shining company cannot be maintain during charge, you hit ln their base profil :)

Wolffyyyyyy thanks for the rules assist :). I’m not savvy to IDK. But for LRL you may want to reread shining company. It is now reworded so it’s much easier to maintain. Pretty cool change from what it used to be.

Shining company is maintained during a charge, because unleash hell happens "after an enemy unit finishes a charge move" You no longer lose Shining Company when you charge, it is now only coherency based :) Hope that helps, and thanks for watching the video!

Just a heads up on the eel charge. You get to add 1 to the bio voltaic blast if the unit your charging has more models. So you get the d3 on 5s

@BattleshockWargaming no problem! Also he rolls a die for each model in his unit so he would have rolled 3 dice instead of one. Much better chance of getting that 6 he said he has never gotten😂

In battle round 3 they have an ability called "High Tide" where all Idoneth units gain strike first.

It was a good matchup but Jaws as usual soured the experience. They should have just made it 2D6 w/ no 2+ requirement. On average it would do some mortals w/ a chance for none or chance for only a minor spike.

that 2+ activation can taste pretty bitter some times when you roll that fat one

Usually it is a minor spike. As an average on 3 dice is 10 and your average move speed is around 6” in game. Netting about 4 mortals on that average if you roll the 2+. But when you combo the jaws with LRL’s overwhelming heat to cut your move characteristic in half.. it becomes a nightmare predator. That’s 5/6/6 roll has happened maybe twice in my 50+ games with LRL.
