Thank you! I just set mine up. You answered several of my questions. I didn't understand cruise though I knew it didn't involve Tom Cruise 😅 . So if all I am using the is for remote monitoring when I step out , do I need an SD card? I don't think I need cloud storage. I not concerned about untoward events. Etc. Advantages of the SD card? Also can the person being monitored, initiate conversation by simply speaking? Is sound transmittrd or just motion tracking? I know I can contact the individual but if they need assistance can they simply vocalize ans trigger an alert?

LOLS @v.judeforbes-delacruz4553, although I do think tom would do an excellent job. No you dont need an SD Card if you just want to watch the feed. But if you want to record what has occurred then the SD card will provide this for you on the machine. The advantage of using Cloud is that if someone steals the device, then all your recordings are gone aswell. Yes, you can initiate a conversation with the person. For them to initiate a conversation with you then they need to be an approved person (to use that button on the front). Yes sound is transmitted and recorded. I don't know if they can vocalise a trigger, I'll say not, but that might be a question for the chat on support, who are excellent BTW.

i have 2 questions please : does it warn you in the app if it loose Internet connection. and if you share the device can you see who is connected at all time? thank you

Two answers and one new observations 1) Nope it doesn't inform you, but then again if its lost internet connection how can it ? 2) It doesn't seem to tell you who is connected to the device, sorry. One feature I mentioned was sentry mode when it scans every hour for abnormalities. At the time I think I said, nice feature, but in practice I love this feature. for some reason, knowing with an acknowledgement that everything is fine gives me a level of assurance. I think this should be an option on all security cameras.

Not that I am aware of or that I can find on any website of forum. You might need to check with Aosu support.

I now have this camera set up at my home. Can you tell me what steps need to be taken if I would like to remove it an take it mikes away to be used at another home with a different network. Thank you/

Hi @chase.3892, I've not had to do this and cant find any supporting documentation for this, but I would assume that you'd need to press the Sync button to put the camera into pairing mode then use QR repairing. I've asked my AOSU contact for the specific steps and will let you know.

Ok thanks. I wondered if you may have to delete and uninstall the camera . Then when you get to the other location reinstall it on that new network. Thanks for any infi you can get. @@smart_home_australia

Hi @chase.3892, I heard back from Aosu, they said move the camera to new location and power up. Go into the App, click settings > reconnect WiFi and follow prompts. I hope that helps.
