My students had a lot of input about the Rule of Law. Especially how people are treated differently based on race, class, ethnicity. The common complaint was the application for the rule of law was applied differently depending on what you looked like and how much money you had.
@CareyLaManna3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, it's tough to argue with that
@notfounder285 Жыл бұрын
It has to do with money more than anything, race is not as important in my opinion

As helpful as this was, there did not seem to be information about Keynesian and Supply-side economics on the AP Classroom video 4.9: "Ideology and Economic Policy", so do we have to know this? Once again, this series is incredibly beneficial for review, but I'm not sure if this is required for this year's exam.
@CareyLaManna3 жыл бұрын
So glad the videos are helping! I can't speak for AP Classroom at all but Keynesian and supply-side is definitely on the course outline and there are questions on the released mock tests on it so I would definitely encourage you to know it

Bill of rights give civil liberties Public opinion polls Benchmark - before campaign Tracking - chart changes over time Entrance/exit - predict outcome Fiscal policy Keynesian economics (liberal) Gov should stimulate economy (spend money) during recessions Supply-side (conservative) Tax cuts are solution to bad economy Free market (libertarian) Don't do anything in economic crisis Monetary policy Fed reserve Inverse relationship between money supply and interest rates High interest rates - slow economy, stop inflation Low interest rates - encourage economy, stop recession + stimulate economy
