Flipping Physics I did not like that from you flipping physics, you are an education channel which should be neutral and encourages to others or at least don’t talk about that and don’t make preference. Most people who watch khan academy in the first place pretty much in any subject of science, khan academy is become a name in everyone’s mind who goes to school or not ( for those enjoying education ), khan academy is the most popular and famous ( if its not the#1 ) education channel name that is directly related to something called learning and his popularity is increasing every year. Hes been out there since 2007. He can make inanimate object understand! This no doubt about it, and lot of appreciation on what he’s done and doing to the human also for u for Patrick and anyone who’s willing to help human. And I think the key behind that is having a pure goal on the first place which is “ Help “ and not looking other than that, this what we call loyalty and not for other things for entering this field. I watch him and watch you and watch other channels as well So please no need for comparison in such a thing. We all get the help of course no matter what people say even themselves who are saying it, I’m pretty sure they get the help and the understanding! But those human even if you doing a right good thing they will keep talking. Focus on your self and thank you for this nice helping channel.

Had the Physics 1 test last week, and I think I totally aced the circuit question! My school doesn't offer an AP physics course and the one I took didn't make it to circuits, so your video was a huge help! Anyway, these videos are the greatest thing ever for reviewing/learning, and I hope you keep up the great work.

10/10 video. How did you know it was 6 for the current in your example problem around 12:00?
@FlippingPhysics8 жыл бұрын
The electric potential difference across the battery (or terminal voltage) is 6 Volts. At 12:00 the only items in the circuit are the battery and the equivalent resistor for all the resistors, therefore, the electric potential difference across the battery and the equivalent resistor are the same; 6 Volts.

Why do we call it equivalent resistance, why not total resistance?
@FlippingPhysics5 жыл бұрын
Because we can replace all the resistors with one resistor with that equivalent resistance and it would have the same resistance. Also, "total" implies "sum" and the equivalent resistance is not the addition of all the resistances.
@harshithgowni15285 жыл бұрын

Volts are the units for electric potential difference. Electric potential difference is the change in electrical potential energy of the object divided by the charge of the object. In other words, electric potential difference is change in electrical potential energy per unit charge. Perhaps this video will help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGTEdHuGga2JhKc
