Man Thank you so much! I wasted three hours doing it the traditional way, and i was questioning my skills. With your method i got to do it alone by unscrewing the bleeder valve and pumping with my leg as I was doing it alone. Ended up working just fine!

Just did this last night. Amazingly satisfying watching giant air bubbles evacuate from the bleed port of a rear brake that has been non-functional for so long! And I don't know why I'm so excited to have a rear brake again on my '08 Factory, but thanks!

Thank you so much! I’m going to do it myself, i was intimidated by the job but i’m actually encouraged now, Cheers!

Great solution! Even my Aprilia mechaninc told me the design of the system is prone to air problems resulting in no rear brake, but I've applied this method and ... voilá. Thanks!

OMG. I've been trying to suss this out for months. Checked everything, bought a new master cylinder, haven't been able to get pressure back since fitting it. Brilliant, thanks.

I had this problem since a year but never got rid of the air in the system. I did it your way now and it seems that it is gone... Thank you very much!

I've just out all new braided lines on the old Falco. So you think i could get the rear to bleed? Front was no bother at all. Thankfully this video sorted the rear. Easy when you know how. Thank you very much for a simple and informative upload.

I tried regular bleeding and reverse bleeding with no luck. As soon as I removed and lifted the caliper it worked. Thank you!!!

Thank you thank you thank you Griff and the Team. Was trying to bleed mine yesterday with no effect... since following your brilliant information I've sussed it out and now have a solid working rear brake :) I'm one happy bunny! :)

what actually causes the brake fade, does the brake fluid degrade due to the location of the pump and the temperature (would higher rated temperature fluid help?) or is it the actual pump or a combination of both...even when bled my rear brake last less than a decent ride...

What diameter hose do u need for this?
@davidellis53122 жыл бұрын
You need 5.5 to 6mm ID tube to go over the nipple. Depends on whether pvc or silicone tube as to how rigid it is.
