Assisting with First Blood only keeps the counter where it was, no reset despite him not getting it. Being the First Blood means that he did not assist in any way, so it doesn't count.

It's just not the same. With old AP Zeri you had a full combo to work. But with Lethality, you get nothing from her ult and passive

With lethality zeri it's best not to go FULL Lethality but (you used to go essence reaver first but sheen and zeri are dead) -> Duskblade/Ghostblade -> Manamune -> LDR after this you buy any situational items like anti heal/armor shred stuff or just more lelthality if you want to. I also like to buy berserker's because I play with my Q a lot as well and I like to have First Strike as my rune. I can literally oneshot with W + Ult. W max first of course and then Q :)

How about maybe Tristana mid with Demolish, quickblades, and maybe hullbreaker? The idea is to be an absolute touch of death to towers, obviously demolish (which gets a boost from hullbreaker and maybe you could even take titanic hydra too?) but also the quickblades mean you can bomb towers more often and it also gets you your jump more often (both from quickblades directly and because quickblades gets you more bombs which also resets your jump) so you’re able to be really slippery when you’re splitpushing on top of being a massive threat if you can actually touch a tower for a couple seconds.

That's just normal tristana but worse. Trist already melts towers if she can get to them. The problem is people coming to defend before you get to their tower. If you want to play split push tristana, itemizing to kill the wave faster with shiv is just better, and then you just build normal tristana items.
