If you remember back in 2019, it was pouring rain. The fireworks caused so much smoke. It was pouring rain again this time, so they opted to hold off the fireworks to avoid a ton of smoke

I am glad I did this when it was a ball drop and not one giant advertisement and tourist event. Still cool, but it losts its value a long time ago. They used to use any screens for showing the celebrities and bands and things you could not see from far away ...no planet fitness, no silly ads...just talking, singing, and the ball drop
