@@user-vr5zk9ox8d Feelings don't matter when you're in an actual state of being though is my point. But to elaborate: It doesn't just make him safe only, which is a second part to why the emphasis on "him" is off. It also makes whomever else he's around more safe because he protects them from harm by proxy if/when a threat arises. You can feel unsafe in a police station in the middle of daily operations despite being objectively in a safe environment due whatever personal issues/obstacles you may have to overcome. That's why the usage of the word "feel" isn't right there. Obviously there are exceptions and freak/extreme scenarios to everything.

Him carrying a gun probably SHOULD make you feel safe, though. Statistically speaking, people who have a concealed carry permit are the most law-abiding people around. More law-abiding than even police. If you want to find who the safest person to be around is, find someone with a concealed carry permit. So what happens when you make it harder to get an ar and the homicide rate doesn't go down. You'll want to start implementing the same rules onto handguns. @phoebe_ophie so, there is a gray area there, concealed carry is just that, he did brandish his weapon, witch in this case makes it an open carry, and is in fact a felony for non government people, however carrying a concealed weapon is protected activity under the 2nd amendment in most states, yes, in a school, in a bank, with proper licensing of course. But I believe he is protected either way, being in the state building not a school.

False entitlement w/o logic argument… 1) woman doesn’t feel “safe” with state representative “legally carrying a firearm” to defend life against criminals 2) accuses same state representative of supposedly irrationally feeling “threatened” such that he feels the need to carry a firearm. The absurdity in logic does not end! 😂 Not even their “safety” feelings make any sense. This man is literally a mobile “safe space” all around him to protect others should harm come their way.
