Betul apa yang Datuk cakap tu. Berhubung dengan ibu bapa sangat penting. Itu yang aku praktikkan lately. Macam aku di Cyberjaya, mak ayah aku di JB. Dulu aku jarang call mereka. Kadang-kala sebulan sekali, kadang-kala lebih dari tu. Tapi sekarang ni, aku akan pastikan setiap kali nak keluar pergi kerja, lepas je dari pagar rumah, aku akan terus call especially mak aku. Setiap hari without fail. Aku anggap the process tu seolah-olah aku minta restu atau salam dia sebelum kali keluar mencari rezeki. Doa mak ayah tu sangat penting. Kesannya sangat berbeza jika dibanding dulu. Alhamdulillah, banyak urusan aku dimudahkan Allah. So, pada yang masih ada parents, ambil la masa untuk call mereka, tanya khabar, minta doa dan sebagainya. Aku borak dengan mak ayah aku pun tak lama. Dalam 1-2 minit je. The same script everyday. Tapi bagi aku, aku nakkan dia doakan untuk aku setiap pagi tu. Tu yang paling utama. 😊😊

I'm just a mere audience, but I do teach communication skill ,and there are a few things I noticed you could improve in this podcast session. As a host, you're a good listener but I would suggest for you to fine tune how you respond to your guest when they disclose their success. When you react super shocked that Mydin could garner billions of dollars it can sound slightly condescending. Mydin is not just a kedai runcit it is now an established brand that sells a plethora of products, it shouldn't be too much of a shock. You can admire their achievement, but be careful not to come across that you didn't expect them to reach such heights. Also, as your platform grow bigger, inevitably you should tread lightly around sensitive topics such as income and political standing. You can talk about it, but do your research before. Like what is already a public knowledge should not be asked again from a reputable guest, do your research before and ask the guest to elaborate on what you found online. Going into politics, be more specific with what particular issue/case that you want to touch and what is your view on the issue instead of labelling a specific politician as "good" or "bad" which can sound more gossipy than a productive dialogue.
