No one beat Yamaha in terms of quality.. Yamaha is Yamaha. I have a gladiator 2015 model which my brother is riding presently still running on stock clutch plate, stock engine.. apart from that I have a pulsar 150, a Ns200 (2017) .. All bikes are good. Just need to pempar them properly..

I do agree yamaha has good quality, but as you said the stock clutch plate is not the right example. I drive a Hero Honda super splendor 125cc, 2006 model which runs on stock clutch plates with 48k on odo!

Bro i also drove a pulsar 150 2015 model which i sold last month...i had clocked almost 55k in the odo ....and not changed the clutch plates.... I only service it from the authorized bajaj Service by an average intervel of 4000 km and the bike was still in brand new condition when i sold it... though so many complaints about bajaj is not reliable .. their service is poor and all but i personally believe that when you take care of the bike properly it will reward you with a good life span...(my openion)

To all the guys who are making filthy remarks on Apache 200. Guys please understand what racing is. You people condemn an Indian manufacturer who has 34 years experience in racing. Yes TVS started racing with a 50cc Champ and still race with a mere 200cc engine. Guys, have you seen the vintage Harley Davidson bikes? They were so skinny and literally look like a bicycle. How could Harley Davidson grow to this extent? Because the Americans encourage, used, promoted, and loved the brand. TVS has been sponsoring so many young racers in our country. Name any well known Indian racer, he is from TVS. TVS is the first Indian manufacturer to participate in the world's toughest rally: Dakar. So you guys judge a bike by riding it on a straight line for a mere 400 meters? Yes Every Apache will lose out in top-speed battle. I remember NDTV had tested p220, HH karizma, and RTR160 on race track. Though RTR160 was the smallest engine, it managed to beat Karizma and was just behind p220. Racing is not all about top speed. If u are not aware, yes Apache 200 has a top speed recorder too. Did u notice him say that it's the best bike in terms of handling and ride quality? It's an Indian make...against the majestic Japanese and Austria's finest The KTM. Does that ring any bells in your mind? For a Maximum price of 1.2 lakhs on road (Carb with Pirellis) It's worth for every rupee you give. Yes This dog has bitten the market so hard and selling 6000+ units per month and growing strong and shaken up other manufacturers which lead to new launches. This dog bites so hard bro. Bharanidhar Venugopal ns200 has a better top end power. It's an Indian manufacturer (now don't tell that the engine is from Duke 200). What matters is ns200 has a better top end power but apache 200 has better handling . If handling is not good, you can just have to get used to it. But for power you have to invest more money for modifications which is not advisable. It is cheap that's why it sells so much. I can't find any other reason why anyone in their sober mind would want to buy an ugly bike like apache 200. P. S I'm a Duke250 owner. :)

It has low power and it has been seen in all the video and a good sound I guess so the proverb barking dog seldom bite perfectly matches it. You're a fan boy and clouded with judgement. my friend own an Apache rtr 200 4v and completed 10k kms .. he is a rash driver .. he always revs his bike a lot but it doesn't vibrates at all in max rpm .we can see a little vibrations in foot pegs in when we go more than 8000 rpm only a little .. it was an amazing bike ... I tested a fz25 bike in a Yamaha showroom .. I just throttled it .. I feel vibrations in 6000 rpm itself ... Yamaha fz25 vibrates a lot in handle bars I am not complaining about Yamaha but only in fz 25 . but u can't see such vibrations in r15.. and also u can't see any such vibrations like that in Apache 200 it's a well refined engine❤.. I don't know y u are saying that Apache vibrates a lot ... I agree with Apache 160 and 180 but not in the Apache 200 .. TVS made a best bike ever called apache 200. Apache and NS 200 are the best value for money bikes ❤ waiting for Abs + FI version of apache 200.❤ don't ever try to underestimate a good bike

Guys, he is right. You won't get a better bike than FZ25 in these range of bikes. When the video started, I was not happy but over all AWESOME Review. Apache's seat and riding comfort is perfect, it won't give you tiredness even in traffic. I haven't tried KTM so I don't want to comment on that but lookwise the old KTM model looked better. Pulsar NS 200 : No offense but apart from it's speed, there's nothing much it offers for so much cost and it is high time, they should change that ghisa pita third class model. Even other regular Indian bikes like Honda hornet/Xblade, t's own 125 NS have same kind of model. One best thing about Pulsar is its re-sale value was always the best. FZ25: They should have added a sixth gear, If you are a FZ owner you'll know this. when you're riding FZ, you'll want to have more of it, that's it speciality. At first, when FZ16 was launched I used to feel "why don't you have a 5th gear????" while riding now same happens with FZ25 "Why doesn't it has a sixth gear" But still Get the FZ25. Its gearing is not perfect but the lack of a sixth gear means it has well spaced out gears and the 5th gear is low ratio gear for cruising . You could see it in this way that the lack of a 6th gear means less gear shifting which makes riding less hectic. If you notice FZ25 didn't come last in any segment. Undoubtedly FZ25 is the best, I owned a FZ16, Pulsar 180 and KTM and now I've borrowed my cousin's FZ25 to ride for few days and check the performance before buying and I'm in love with its performance. The pickup, style, seating, mileage everything is amazing, above all it is a YAMAHA machine and one of the best bikes Yamaha has ever made. P.S. I have bought and sold many bikes but I just don't feel like selling Yamaha FZ16, hopefully FZ25 will continue the legend.

I have fz25 amd fz and a gladitor 125cc in which gladiator is 10 yrs old now even now it doesnt have any complaint and it doesnt need to visit workshops at all. After i had bought ktm which made me ill with its maintainence charge and problems and less availabilty of parts so i sold it and bought pulsar which was good for first 6 month and after that it started showing it is a bajaj product a monthly workshop visitor. So i sold and bought fz25 last year when it was launched and till now complaint ,no maintainece issue low cost amd good milege. After that i became a fan of brand yamaha and this year bought normal fzs for normal use. Now i have 3 yamaha bikes and proud of it

Brought Apache RTR 200 after watching this review. As a daily user and not a topspeed fan, Apache gives better brake (Dual channel ABS) Slipper clutch, Great handling, Average mileage of 40km, pirelli tyres, Better riding comfort and great cornering stability. Thanks for the KYB shock absorbs

I've tried all four bikes myself and I'm not brand loyal to any of these. Considering the value for money I'm leaning more to FZ. I've always loved the engine refinement of Yamaha but hate the display design and gear limiting to 5 only in this one. They should have kept ABS optional and improved both front and rear suspensions. Duke 390 2017 (though not on comparison) is superb but it constantly demands huge sum on maintenance. 250 for me is a bit pricey for what's on offer. If the BMW G310 won't show up by the end of this year, FZ 25 will hit my garage ;) Thanx a lot motorbeam team on this fair review. Love you guys :)

But the only thing Dominar gets my hate is every part make noise and to repair them its just like Cancer ... Dominar is the bike of all time but Bajaj always makes such mistakes and never solves the problems of customer in Gujarat... Thats the only issue... Same KTM issues are forever and you start living with it... Yamaha is still best as per value of ownership and service... No complains and they are always ready to listen here... I had some vibration in the cluster and they did it infront of me and said take a test ride if you feel then come again else go ride... Where my Dominar friend was said “i took a ride no issues take it back” Then after requesting he said its a complete ready bike... Then we went on a local Garage and he made it happen... Now every 5000km my friend takes his bike to him and he adjusts again... Even he says you can’t wash with heavy spray else your parts will again vibrate... (plastic) So think again and decide... Ktm other hand has issues of not serving proper help at times they just say talk to the advisor and when you talk with him he uses his good marketing strategy and fools you... Tvs is good no issues till date.. But its small bike and seems cheap.. Bajaj is worst... Ktm is good Tvs is best And Yamaha is best in Gujarat Thats it

I think it is Apache to me!! Bike lovers don't relay only on power delivery where Duke will blow others away. But actually it is ride quality and handling where I think TVS hits the right strings almost for the first time. Based on price per performance ratio, Apache is almost half of Duke and is still 40k lesser than FZ25. Speaking ur point where FZ wins against Duke for value it offers. It applies same to Apache (vs FZ) too.. (It is still in the range of Hornet, Gixxer SF) And if TVS break the shackles and bring FI (with ABS too) which makes it supreme value against FZ and other. It will be still cheaper than FZ25 and then you will change ur opinion. By the way, a request to TVS.. Bring Apache 310 RR with similar characteristics of 200 4v or excel it.. But don't be very late again.. no excuse this time..,😉😉

Exactly my points, if KTM had given ABS, Metzeler tires, and improved instrument cluster to Duke 250 it would have been winner but at 2.15 lakhs on road Bangalore, its too pricey, better to buy Duke390 by investing another 40,000 rs which is a monster of a bike. Overall, FZ25 great VFM motorcycle from Yamaha.

Adi tya, Dude I already bought one and just finished a 1200 km road trip, its an awesome touring machine. This bike can cruise around 120 all day without any jerk. No heating issues, no vibrations, very sweet machine and its priced around 1.48 lakhs on road, that's very aggressive pricing actually.

krpradi no way dude.. it expensive for the price. 200ns&rs can cruise at 120kmph. As i have a mentioned, for budget equipments fz25 comes with, its expensive. its obvious yamahas are never VFM, they don't even come close to that. That doesn't mean fz25 isn't a good motorcycle.

bro i hve 200ns 2017 very nice machine and smoother then the old ns its true it comes 3rd in term of 0 to 100 but ns 200 has very strong top end heavy weight helps her for the stability but it can easily beat fz, apache, and almost equal to duke 250 in top end
