Kartikeya Singhee : That's a crisp entry. I am always amazed, so much quality motorcycling content creation going around Pune. I passed you guys on that bridge on a 2013 Pulsar 135 with a Calavera Catrina styled helmet on. I wondered if the "feel" of bikes power felt under acceleration can have better representative value if it could be compared with bikes we already have. Generally any purchase aspirations are made once you perceive a specific problem with your current bike and the new one would overcome that.

Duke has only initial pickup. Nothing else. YAMAHA is dad of all. All the other bikes you have shown is a guest for 2-3 years. You take the same YAMAHA after 15 years. It will fly like a rocket. You can’t imagine the engineering of YAMAHA. Such a machine I have never seen. It always surprises with the performance. Even for a 150cc R15 V3. Interesting review guys. Amazing how these bikes represent three different takes on the 250cc segment in India. I would not want to be in the shoes of the person making this choice. But you have made it slightly easier for them by breaking down where each bike fails and succeeds. Also, weird take, but I'm walking away from this review with a greater appreciation for the Apache RTR 200 - VFM, economical, highly-engaging, brilliant equipment, great ride and handling, and enough grunt to do 'early' triple digits comfortably.

Completely agree with you. TVS needs to enter the fight. Apaches are on of the most VFM machines in India and they don't compromise on performance either. A 300 from TVS in similar price bracket will heat up the competition like anything. And i am being greedy here, but the last one on my wishlist is NS coming to the party. One of the great reviews between these three bikes , the fz 25 is a great commuter bike and feels just like the fz s bumped up with the power , but its extra wheelbase is just not suitable to flick in the city and feels just too bulky according to my experience, and ktm is a great machine and is built for the track and has great mechanics to go with, but is too expensive for what it offers , then comes the gixxy which is just bang on right what it intends to do , show it the corners it ready to flick around all day long ( even though it does not come with state of the art USD fork ) and in the city is a great commuter bike but only with rider ( because the pavillion comfort is not great ) hence overall zigwheels have a great job choosing the gixxer over the others

Sir I have Pulsar AS 200. Is it good idea to upgrade to Gixxer 250? Please let me know the reasons. Thank you.

Seems like all of them are good. I'd go for yamaha for the love of yamaha, engine, breaking and a bit cheaper than all bikes and every day commute. All 3 look good.

Hi, For daily commute plus weekend small trip - Highness at 1.86 or FZ 35 for 1.34. Engine refinement, Performance, riding posture, VFM, etc?

These stylish ones are not practical. I just sold fz and went back to Unicorn. Indian roads are not meant for high speed driving. Guys be safe. Family is more important.

Fz25 is a real practical purpose bike with easy maintenance. If you can put 30-40k more than yes, gixxer250 will be in u r range. Don't go with spec sheet... Only the rider soul within u can take distances. Happy Riding

Suzuki gixxer is 4 valve that why it feels comfortable to ride at top end, and Yamaha fz25 is a 2 valve, so it strains at higher speed

FZ 25 does 0-100 in around 8.4 seconds watch Power Drift FZ25 review from 2017 It's one hell of a Quickster

They somehow achieved it miraculously using the 50kg champ back then.. realistically takes about 10+ secs..

Fz25 is better in terms of styling though it lacks in power dat doesn't mean it's underated...suzuki has more power but looks dated...ktm is out of the box here..

Gixxer250 A 250 that looks just like it's 150 siblings.. With no major changes at all.. Suzuki should have made a 250 that looks like a proper 250 not a 250 that looks like a street fighter 150..too bad
@saswatmishra27595 жыл бұрын
First of all it should not be a Gixxer. It should have been a GSX S.Should be a replica of the mighty GSXS 750 and GSXS 1000.Just look at the Duke 250 which is a replica of Duke 390,790 and of course the 1290 SuperDuke.

@@saswatmishra2759 ya I totally agree with you 😄👍 Now it just look like a plain Street Fighter.. It doesn't look like a premium motorcycle

@@saswatmishra2759 ya I totally agree... 👍 FZ25 is the best value for money 250cc....and is even looks more premium than the gixxer 150/250cc😄🤣

Suzuki is good at desining motorcycle but KTM and Yamaha are just excellent in doing that. They transfer the DNA of the bigger flagship bikes into the smaller bikes.

I have been riding pulsar 200ns since 8 years and completed 60k kms. Thinking of upgrading within a budget of 02 lakhs. Need engine refinement with low maintenance. Also required rider and pillion comfort as a daily rider and 3-4 monthly highway trips. is RE classic reliable enough to meet the reliability of japanese bikes or the least bajaj bikes. Please advise. Looking for options of Gixxer 250/ FZ25/ Svartpilen 250/ Classic 350. DOubtful of Svartpilen as i have heard that it has too much vibartions at high rpms

No for highways RE are very slow. U ll feel bored and yes RE are good for trips like ladakh. But for highway trips no they are boring af. Well at a budget of 2 lakh with good pillion comfort i ll suggest u dominar 250

Honestly though the biggest gripe about the ktm bikes is their bikes are stiff as hell, grough and you feel every vibe in it like no other. What's the use of the high revving engine when you don't enjoy the ride. I owned the domi400 and the ktm adv390 but i will choose the domi. Vibe free, smooth as hell and a better suspension than the adv

This is what you call 360 degree review. That too with a decisive recommendation at the end. Bold and beautiful. But has Honda's offering become a dinosaur compared to these young thugs? Not even a mention?
