A good demo. The Ic-7300 has everyon'e attention these days. I think one reason is the price and features combo is so attractive. $1300 is doable for so many folks while $2600 i not.

Why the recommendation for a gig ethernet connection? I can't believe it it's a bandwidth issue, so I'm wondering if it's something to do with the lower latency of gigE, or possibly processor offloading? Thanks for doing the video!

Hi Eric...I'm thinking of a purchase of a 200D, here in Australia we are pretty close to getting a portion of the 60 meter Band will the ANAN be able to operate there also does the ANAN produce a signal on 630 meters 472 KHz?

I sure hope you upgraded your PC by now! That program ran as slow as a snail. The scope alone took a long time to render!

Does the software come with that unit or you have to download it? Also will it tx out of band if needed?

Why does the Anan 100b have a monitor and mic audio circuit that is not flat. The monitor is terrible. What you hear ain't what you get on the 100b. Is the 200b different?

I don't like the MIC or antenna connectors. BNC for antennas? That reminds me of the Heathkit days! That alone made me shy away from trying this. Try and hook up LMR400 to that!

AMPHENOL RF PART NUMBER 112563 BNC Straight Crimp Plug for LMR-400, 50 Ohm Do you have any further asinine statements to make? BNC's take up far less room and they are quick connect/disconnect.

Surprised you don't use a panafall with the panadapter over a waterfall. The waterfall signature makes it really easy to see a conversation in SSB or a digital signal, allowing you to ID what it is vs the band noise around it. Also it's the time domain so you see the history of activity vs only seeing what is immediately going on.

I was really thinking about going SDR, but this looks sooo boring. After using computers for years, it just does not look appealing. And if you get a new rig, nothing changes.. you still look at the same old boring computer screen.. thanks

More like a PowerSDR demo, yes the software works exactly the same with my flex-3k but thanks anyways. 73.
