I see a lot of Turkish wishing him to go to hell. I can tell you one thing. The unification of Cyprus with Greece was a British proposal-idea. Also, British gave a 10 year period for "enosis". Makarios felt betrayed, because he wanted Cyprus for Cypriots. Not greek not Turkish. Ultranationalists like EOKA B(greekcypriot side) and TMT (Turkish Cypriot side) made things worse. One love one land 💗
