1. SOUNDBITE (English) Tristan Tate, brother of Andrew Tate:
Reporter (English): "For more than two years you found out today there will be a trial on your first file. How do you feel about that?"
Tristan Tate (English): "You know, I don't think that any country in the world should be able to arrest and hold people prisoner for years before you even decide if there's going to be a trial or not, if there's evidence or not. I understand the constraints Romania has. I understand that everything is done on a paperwork system. I understand the budgets they have. I understand the financial limitations. I get that the process here is slow. But, for me, there's no bad outcome today. They say we're going to trial. Wonderful. I will love to go to trial. The woman who accused me confessed to falsely accusing me. She literally confessed. And I can't wait to finally show that to a judge after two or three years. If they say there's no trial then good I can just move on with my life. But there's no bad result for me today. I can't wait for a trial because I think the judges and the public and the news and everybody who called me all these horrible names is going to be shocked at the evidence that the prosecutors have and all the proof I have, of course, that exonerates me."
Reporter (English): "Is there any proof that the prosecutors have against you?"
Tristan Tate (English): "There can't be any proof against me because I've never committed any crimes. The prosecutors have found nonsense and tried to spin it off as evidence."

2. SOUNDBITE (English) Tristan Tate, brother of Andrew Tate:
"So the fact that I have stood here steadfast. I have not left the country despite the fact my lawyers even said in court this is a Schengen zone, I could leave if I wanted to, illegally. I could have fled. I have stayed here because Romania is my home. It's my country. I have shown nothing but respect for it and all of the system that's tried to destroy my life. But the people who wrote this accusation and the prosecutors who took it seriously have some serious questions to answer, whether it be in a trial or whether it be in some type of inquest after this fog is dismissed. Thank you."

STORYLINE:
Romania’s court of appeal was expected on Tuesday to decide on the start date of a trial for the Tate brothers.
In comments ahead of the session, Tristan Tate said he remained confident that there was no evidence against him and he would be exonerated.
"There can't be any proof against me because I've never committed any crimes. The prosecutors have found nonsense and tried to spin it off as evidence," Tristan Tate said.
Andrew Tate, 37, and brother Tristan, 36, both former kickboxers and dual British-U.S. citizens, are awaiting trial in Romania in a separate human trafficking case along with two Romanian women.
Romanian prosecutors formally indicted all four last year.
In September a court in Romania’s capital rejected an appeal by prosecutors to jail divisive internet influencer Andrew Tate, who will remain under house arrest amid a second human trafficking investigation against him that allegedly involves minors.
The Bucharest Court of Appeal also ruled to keep Tristan Tate, under judicial control, which typically involves restricting communication with certain people and reporting periodically to the police.
