hmmm, and if you see we are referring them as "pishima", my "'father's" sister which shows the patriarchal reality. And the financial burden part was real, but again it is the woman in charge of the house who can say such a thing, if you;ve read Upai / The Final Solution by Manik Bandyopadhyay you know it. Another thing if you see the aunty in most cases i have seen that she was dejected by his husband's household why because she is a childless woman.
