@@tamaramadelin4831probably in the next few months. The work contracts have expired, and our companies want us back in the US. It was a big surprise to get this news right before a trip to Turkey a couple of weeks ago.

Lovely apartment! Sorry to hear you are leaving Lisbon. We are right behind you but will be down in Vila Real de Santo Antonio when we return from the US this summer.

Had a change of plans, so heading back to the States. Have a friend from Colorado living in Vila Real and absolutely loves it!

Hello Do you remember me? This is Janis Williams from the Phoenix area, Gilbert. You met my girlfriend and I two years ago when we came scouting. We moved to the Algarve and live in a little town called Tavira. Where are you moving? Are you staying in Portugal? I hope you move down here in the south near us. Janis, so great to hear from you. Due to changes in work visa, we are headed back to Phoenix. The Algarve is amazing, and if we had the ability to stay in Portugal, we talked about moving away from Lisbon and moving down by you.

Wow! This certainly is a surprise but perhaps not totally unexpected? 🤷 Life always has a funny way of throwing curve balls at you when you least expect it. I hope this new wrinkle will be easy to overcome for you both. BTW-your apartment is beautiful-one of the best I’ve seen in Lisbon. Should sell fast.
