Today we went to find an apartment here in Chiang Mai, Thailand. You can get some really cheap apartments for as low as 5,000 baht and it is all up from there.
The Nimman area is the most popular area for expats and digital nomads with it's low cost of living, fast wifi and hundreds of cafes and co-working spaces.

Prices can vary at the Dome / season. I never paid more than 10k THB including the electricity.

you know this is my 2nd or 3rd watching this video. since nov 2016 There are soo many choices to choose from in chiang mai its truly overwhelming. i'm still in America so i don't have to pick anything until Oct. i do know what you picked of course. i literally just emailed them and asked them to tell me the speed of their internet. because i shoot everything in 4k. now a days. I, like other viewers, am enchanted by the low cost of living, but i almost got myself an apartment forgetting to take care of one of the most important aspects of living there. Haha that yellow "Room for Rent" sign in this video fooled me earlier this month when I stopped in asking about monthly rental options. They all looked at me like I was crazy and said "No no no we only rent for one or two nights". Not what "for rent" means!

GREAT VIDEO! On the paper it shows of 4,000 / 5,000 / 5,500. You show the price at number 1 at 13,000. with you saying you like your own space or words to that effect, why not go for 2 studio apartments. Why pay 13,000 for a kitchen. i'm planning to travel too Cancun for my first time traveling alone and also first time backpacking. but i'm confuse about withdrawing money out of the ATM do i have to change my bank for one that can be use in any ATM abroad like a MasterCard or visa

just talk to your bank they will tell you. if you have time to receive one it's good to ask them for a new ATM card because it will have all the latest security enhancements.

anytime you're dealing with money there somewhere will speak English for you. it's really easy because lots of people in Chiang Mai speak English
