The first unit we saw was a 2 bedroom for about $1400 a month and the second was 1 bedroom for about $1100 - $1200 a month and both come with parking and they include water. Heat, Hydro and internet are an additional cost. For the other building, they had different layouts and the one bedroom costs about $1260 a month, the other 2 units were 2 bedrooms and the prices varied for these as the size of the unit mattered as well. But it could range from $1600 to $2000 a month. These ones come with all utilities except hydro and parking and are partially furnished. Parking was an additional $100 a month.

Hi , thanks for this. I just got my admission a few days ago, I like this video it’s informative on what to expect but I noticed studio apartments weren’t covered. Hats what I would prefer Studio or 1 bedroom, I’m a minimalist , I don’t need a huge space

Hiya Some of the units showed in this video are furnished but there are other nice apartments that aren't furnished. In terms of cooking utensils, most times you have to purchase those yourself but depending on the place you get, it might be provided. Feel free to let me know if you have additional questions. The furnished apartments are very nice but a bit pricey but the are beautiful 🥰 Also are they close to university of Winnipeg

Thats right. It looks nice but it's more expensive. Then again it's furnished and a lot of apartments don't come furnished. It's not so close but also not so far. You can get a bus that takes you straight to the University of Winnipeg from any of the apartments in the video.

Hey Favy, amazing video really insightful. so my question is for the 1 bedroom in the 1st apartment building which is $1100 - $1200, for an international student landing with his spouse is it possible to get something like that without guarantor and the rest? Do we have to sign a long term lease? or make down payment for like 3 months ? I would just like to know how the process will be. Also after your reply I would love to send you a dm. Thank you so much for watching today 😊 yes for sure you can rent an apartment like that. Different landlords have different requirements so yes some would ask for guarantors while some might not. For the ones that require guarantors, sometimes by paying a few months upfront might help but it depends on the landlord. And yes most landlords would want you to sign a lease but the duration varies per apartment/landlord. We can definitely talk more via dm if you have more questions.

It's not so close but also not so far. You can get a bus that takes you straight to the University of Winnipeg from any of the apartments in the video. A lot of people that go to the University of Winnipeg also stay close to the university of Manitoba.
