The battery is in serial, so you can also use a single one: 24V @ 9Ah

Hi, let's say that a thunder strikes and the fuse is blown, can I replace it? or I simply push the button on the back? What is the purpose of that button(it says circuit breaker). Is there a fuse? Thanks!

1. just push the button to reset it, most ups only has circuit breaker (for my APC BX2200MS, it doesn't has any fuse to replace) 2. but if the ups has fuse inside (some product/version), you need replace it. usually the manual tell you where is it and it has spare fuse 3. (only if circuit breaker not working), there are internal surge protection inside, it not user service able if it break, need some profesional service repair

@rinkaemina I have the same model but the European version. You are right, there is no spare fuse in the packaging. So this is model has a reusable/reset-able one. I remember an old model some years ago, that came with a spare fuse. Thanks for your help!

Hey, this UPS isn't pure sine wave, is it? Is it okay to use it for PC? I'm planning on getting it, but I'm worried it'll break my PC.

this one is Simulated Sine wave, it not safe for long term use, mostly it will kill the PSU first if it so often using the battery mode i just use this to shut down my PC asap (less than 1 min) when blackout, Pure Sine Wave too expensive like 2-3x the price does not include shipping cost

Thanks a lot for the video tutorial! I have BX1600MI, there are two batteries 12v 7.2Ah. What do you think, is it possible to put two 12v 9Ah instead of them?

Probably not, don't do that for safety issue.

I also have apc bx1600mi, i replace the battery with 9ah and still have no problem at all.. As long as it has the same size (65x94x151mm)pcs.. The software also working fine..

the battery dimension is: 151(L) X 65 (W) X 102(H) mm but since it uses 2 batteries, the Width become 130-135mm when they stacked side-by-side consider the double tape you use

Hi. This is very helpful video, but I am in doubt what battery package I can use? I have same ups BX2200MI. Because on APC site they said only use APCRBC177. Can I use 2 APC Replacement Battery Cartridge 17? Is this a same?

Hello, you can use any Lead-acid battery as long you use 12v+12v (2-piece, series) or 24v (single). I'm using G-Power, from local supplier, mostly the size/dimension are same Yes, you can use APCRBC177, it might be for warranty stuff or your local has them in store

from product Spec information, Tipe baterai: 1x Lead-acid battery, 12V, 9AH. You can use the battery type I'm using on the video, it same 12V 9AH but you only need 1 battery.

Are you connecting the batteries in series? Or should they be connected in parralel?

Am i the only one that is afraid of breaking the battery connector? XD I have to change my battery but I can't remove the battery connector it's really stuck and i can't get a grip with anything, any tips?

i pull it with Pliers, there is some plastic lock there that make it stuck
