This is the spectacular HIGH CUP NICK in the North Pennines.
You walk to it along 'A Pennine Journey' Path and walk back along the 'Pennine Way' Path. A truly awesome rock formation and valley created by Glaciers or was it a Meteorite... You decide?
Walk date April 24th 2022.
A Fat Boys on Tour Walking Group team adventure with Mary and Derek Ashbridge, Denise and Nick Holmes, Denise Robinson and her wonderful dog Milly, Paul Holland, Gareth Bibby, Michael Clitheroe, Colin Billham, Bert Noxid and Graham Saunders.

Your so right Sean, I hope I get the chance to do it again without the gale force winds. People were actually turning back it was that strong. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

It was very strong, it literally took us twice as long to get there with it straight in our face. Dave is well but age is now catching up with him, much to his extreme frustration. Despite this he is still walking every day and packing in the miles. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Please spread the word, share etc, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks as always, getting older not doing as much but will keep cracking on. Takes so long to do the videos that I need to be in the mood. Bought new software, spent a lot of money and can't work out how to use it lol. Old brain, hey ho. Thanks for watching

@@FatBoysonTourHikingVideos haha well thanks for putting the effort in. I was up Finsthwaite Heights today and used your video whilst at the top to try to find the summit. Difficult to find so touched everything i thought it could of been. Another one I think AW was having a laugh at us 'bagging' them

@@FatBoysonTourHikingVideos Spectacular footage and kudos for continuing to film in the very challenging conditions. I see you're visiting the Cheviots this month - just a heads up and you may already be aware but there was significant damage to the forestry areas during the windstorms back end of 2021. Kidland Forest - south of the Cheviot - was particularly badly effected and a number of paths / tracks remain impassible. e.g. you can't get to Davidson Linn (waterfall) from the Border Ridge. Nevertheless there's plenty to explore and I'd certainly recommend a walk around Breamish Valley (locally known as Ingram) and Coquet Valley around Alwinton and Barrowburn. To the north of the Cheviot, College Valley is a hood starting point for walks. Hope the weather gods smile on you.

@@martinc3918 really appreciate the heads up. We will watch out for that and heed your advice and tips. Complete new ground for us so need all the help with planning we can get. We have walking friends who live close in Morpeth so will hopefully be tapping them for local knowledge. Thanks a lot for watching and taking the time to comment with so much useful info. Again much appreciated Martin.

@@FatBoysonTourHikingVideos You're welcome Graham. A small token of my appreciation as it was your Wainwright videos that got me back into serious walking and were invaluable in helping me plan and complete my own AW challenge. Stay safe. Martin.

Its always windy on High Cup Nick, been there a couple of times, always blowing a gale but always a stunning view from the top. Got to be 15 years since I was up there last with a group from work, including Mrs Metalman and we circled around the back from Dufton and (eventually) HCN appeared before us - what a sight! Super crisp footage and looked a canny crew with you too but I have never scrambled over the boulders in the valley, to the top, that looked real hard work. Despite the real gale force conditions, a dam fine walk out, cheers Alan
