@@andrescwallpapers6514 Yeah, you have to download a pc2 emulator on your pc, preferably pcsx2, and then you download the ape escape 2 rom and then you can play ape escape 2 but If your pc isn’t that good, it won’t run as fast though

I never owned this game but I had the demo disk that had a snippet of this game on it.. I played it for hours just repeating the first level and a bit, restart. take me back to those days man.

Indeed! I never heard anyone mention it apart from when I intentionally looked it up, and it's weird since the game is actually so much better than many "mainstream" games. I never had a PS1 as a kid, so I didn't know Ape Escape 1, but I had a PS2 and the 2nd and 3rd ones are such a great memory to me!...

This game looks way better than I remembered, I remember this game as a kid , I think I went and rented it and brought back days late so I got charged well not me but I think my mom lol 😂 , after that I wasn’t allowed to rent unless she was with me , lots of memories.

I've noticed something not rendering right. In the very first level, when you walk up to that circular area with all the lamps, you can see the wood above changes lighting or something. Also you can see another problem happening when you get to the area with the fountain, the ground goes from bright to slightly darker. If you go into software mode, all the lighting and texture glitches aren't there anymore.

I didn't change any settings mate.. try get the latest PCSX2 v1.5.0 that will help fix it.

In the latest builds of PCSX2, Mipmapping set to Basic (Fast) greatly alleviates this problem (same as in this video). Nowadays, the Direct3D renderer has Mipmapping as an option too.
