respected madam, you have missed out about what they are going to do with balance amount of IPO FUND. The company plans to use Rs 550 crore from the net proceeds to repay certain outstanding borrowings and remaining funds of Rs. 370 crore for general corporate purposes. After understanding the analysis of RAH , i am really in a jeopardize situation.

The occupancy rate is higher than peers and the market average like 90+% because the ARR is lower than peers about 33%. thus affecting the top line and bottom line of the company when compared to peers, once the new hotels are ready for business, they will be priced similarly to peers Thus boosting the revenues. Also, a big chunk of profits is used for debt repayment affecting the bottom line. which will not be the case after the IPO, Definitely applying for the IPO.

Im not sure but , Capital gain tax is applied on Gains /profit booked with in a year. If you wait for 1 year , Capital gain Tax will not be applied .

Less than 1 year short term capital gain 15% tax on profit. Sell after 1year then long term capital gain 10% on profit.

If the company uses the money raised from IPO to clear their debts it's definitely a good sign to the company. But from an investor point of view, i believe that is is not a good sign if the company uses it entirely to clear debts rather than using it proportionately between debt and expansion. Kindly clarify Ma'am.
