Don't take out the SD card from the dash cam when the dash cam is turning on. If not, the Sd card maybe get wrong, cann't work well for you. 2. Turn off the Parking Mode&Motion Detection while driving. 3.set cyclic record to 3 min(loop recording) and set G-sensor to “low”. 4.Turn off the Screensaver if you want to watch the view on the screen all the time. The screen will be black afte​r 1 min but the camera is still recording. Red light flashing means the camera is recording. If you want the screen always on, p​lease enter into menu to turn off the “screensaver”. 5.Better choose 32GB SD Card, Class 10. Also 64 or 128GB is ok. Please format your SD Card to FAT32 Format on your computer and then format it again in the dash cam. Actually, 32/128GB SD card is better than 64GB SD card in compatibility part.(PS: You can try exFat or other formats on the computer if there is not FAT32 option. ) 6.Please power the dash cam with our original car charger all the time. 7. Format the Sd card every week. After you set loop recording, the dash cam can over-write the unlocked files by itself while the locked files need to be deleted manually for your information. Appreciate the effort. I watched a couple times. I have the front and rear version C420 and can work on the front camera operation ok. Rear seems pretty simple to plug in. My questions I do not see are, (1) how to get a power supply to record overnight (2) how to view video on laptop? I really saw a great deal from this video, thank you for your help!

Hi, it’s got built in rechargeable batteries so the options are there to run it on batteries or permanent power. Best to have it connected to the permanent power. Hope this helps & thank you for watching I really appreciate it.

Liking the cam so far, but the suction mount doesn't hold for a flip. Had to double sided tape it.

That’s no good Paul. Did you try a bit of water on the suction cup before you attach to the window it usually helps. Thank you for watching I really appreciate it

@@ScoobyRolla I didn't do the water trick, the double sided tape worked though. Our temps are hovering around the twenties for a while, and I read that suction mounts tend to fall off in cold weather. If I want to remove it ever, a little alcohol will dissolve the adhesive, so no worries there.

@@andraconnolly6962 the memory card needs to be in it and it has to be plugged into the port in your car, it’ll automatically start recording once the car turns on and you can press the orange power button to manually at at t recording
