Another great exercise Eric, thanks for another very useful and practical post. The open slap at 5 and moving to other drums is something i have not tried yet.I will incorporate it into my practice as from tomorrow. Cheers!

Thank you! I will practice the 5 stroke roll daily. Please keep all the rudiments coming. What is the order of leaning that rudiments? I would like to start with them in a order if there is such a thing. How many rudiments are there for hand drummers? only
@APercussionLife7 жыл бұрын
Thank Miskim! I'll try to teach them all as much as I can. And there is a specific order... Mostly done with singles. I have a couple of videos I did a few months back that you can look at that address some of the first ones.

Nice vídeo!! I have a question?? Wich skin head do you recommend the remo those acrilic o a natural head for congas?? Wich help more to develop the sound and the strength on hand?
@APercussionLife7 жыл бұрын
I personally use "Rawhide" heads... to me... it forces you to develop your tones and it obviously hurts more so your pain tolerance gets strengthen as well... now I do love the Remo Fiberskyn heads.. (if I had to play on synthetic), but really to each their own... I think you can develop a great sound using synthetic heads.. it all goes down to practice.

Saludos, que tamaño son las congas que usa en el video. Muy bueno Gracias.

How about doing 5 stroke roll with single hand but in (2+3) groove style... they should sound like 2+3 groove not just 5 straight strokes no matter how fast or subtle. I no drummer ...got no drums but can do it on table.😃
@karentemecula Жыл бұрын
Hi What is your best guess on the bpm?
