Great review! I have this fountain about 6 weeks so far. I. have noticed here in your video and others that there is a stainless guard over the workings of the pump and mine does not and did not seem to come with that stainless piece. Did Apetdola make a change to this? Thanks in advance. :)

How do you clean the pump?

We used a bowl of warm water with Dawn in it. We also have these tools amzn.to/3Sx7jQc which help us get in small spaces. Then we just rinse it with warm water. Hope that helps.

I didn’t get a black plastic cover to go over the pump thing and it’s not in instructions…. weird

Honestly, I am not sure. It looks like plastic of some kind at least on the outside I have no idea what it looks like inside.
