I'm surprised that I dont see game and watch players use fast fall nair to chair more often. Its a confirm to chair if you get the first hit of fast fall nair to land you can go straight to chair. If you dont land it you can quickly get out because it basically has no end lag. Its a similar set up to captain falcons nair 1 to knee or stomp but easier to hit cause its like 2 inputs lol

Exactly. While there might be some people who want to offend others, just pointing out that an event isn't stacked, shouldn't be taken as some kind of offense. Its just pointing out a fact, that's all. Certainly, things would have been different if Light, Tweek, Tea and Dark Wizzy hadn't DQ'd. And Maister and Cosmos hadn't dropped out a few weeks earlier. If an event is stacked enough, and doesn't need people to defend its strength, then you know you got yourself a solid major/super major. I don't recall anyone saying SmashCon wasn't stacked, for example. Its just common sense. Regularly, you wouldn't see MPG getting to Winner's Finals for example (again, no offense).

Miya also has the benefit of not running into MKLeo almost every time he make Grands. Like... Maister would've won 2 majors this year alone if he hadn't run into Leo in Grands. Miya hasn't fought any of the people Maister struggles against so ofc he's going to make everyone look free af. Give this bracket path to Maister and there's a good chance he doesn't drop any games. The best players Miya had to fight this tournament were Jakal (rank 23) and LeoN (rank 49).

As great as Mi-ya is, let's not pretend like Maister wouldn't also tear through the bracket Mi-ya got (no disrespect to anyone Mi-ya beat, but the bracket path was really weak for a major). I think the real test is going to be SWT. This felt more like a NA showcase tournament for Mi-ya (It's a little sad though since the way he was playing today he definitely could beat the top 3 seed but we never got to see it).

@@TaariqBethea How exactly is he way better? Maister has wins on Proto, KEN and Shuton so it's not like he doesn't do well against Japanese players. Miya doesn't have MKLeo blocking him whenever he makes it to Grand Finals. Only a handful of people beat Maister rn and none of those people fought Miya today. I'll give a slight edge to Miya because that Kagaribi win was no easy feat, but to say Miya's way better when we have almost no points of comparison is stupid.

He's really not a problem. Did you see how early Jakal took almost of G&W's stocks? Miya straight-up played better after game 1, simple as that. They are more top players who use wolf than G&W, btw.
