Honestly both of them played mad good. Miya might be the first person to actually just not let luigi play the game like everyone says you’re supposed to do vs him. Rarukun managing to make the most out of the few neutral wins he got was impressive too, especially when you consider that a lot of those kill combos didn’t even come from grab

Best Luigi I've seen in ultimate. Miya was great but Rauru played better imo. Just a bad matchup and he did what he could. Just look at Elegant vs Maister to see how the meta evolved with this matchup.

I think it’s quite the opposite. Miya played like a monster when rauru had him on last stock. If anything this is kind of an unfortunate mu for gnw. One nair and gnw is dead. Miya has been dominating neutral for the entire game but rauru kept landing that starter to lead to a stock deletion.

Elegant vs Maister at summit 4 is one of the hardest stompings Maister has ever gotten. Both of these guys simply played the matchup (gnw puts luigi in disadvantage and keeps him there until death while luigi blows up gnw off of nearly any stray hit), and the better player won
