I'm an adult also of 70 yrs with previous business ventures and 50 yrs as a pipeline welder. My point is, I've had to deal with a variety pack of personalities, and when one comes up that says they're not lying...they usually are. I only traded 1 contract, period. They claimed I was DCA. bs. I did not receive an 8k payout.

I have one PA account with Apex. I hope i get a payout. I can verify myself. If they want me to video my trades that is just never going to happen. Sometimes I can do screengrabs of trades in progress, but I shouldn't have to if I download the log of trades. Their support has always been rude and snarky. I got banned from their facebook for saying so when there was a Tradovate outage they didn't want to acknowledge. That was before they had their discord. They pay trustpilot to remove bad reviews. They may or may not have good value accounts like you say, but they behave like a mafia and I don't like them as a business or their people.

Topstep is a lot better. 5 funded accounts, payouts in the bank account in 1-2 days. I have apex accounts also, currently at 11 days waiting for payout to be accepted or denied.

What I have been confused about is if we are actually executing trades on a live market. Then our PNL is our money. I think what they do is group all trades for a day and put them into one account. What they should do is put all gains and losses into each individual account like a brokerage firm does. Then they dont need all this added noise and rules that causes issues with customers.

No reason to be confused, it isn't a live account at all. Anytime you trade on a live account you will have to provide more details and sign forms specifically for the exchange. They aren't bundling trades or anything like that, you are simply paid for you performance on SIM - all firms do this ( unless you are moved to a live account)

You spoke way to soon. I have gotten payouts from them as well, but the writing is on the wall for them. It has been getting worse and worse regardless of how we look at it. From hidden rules, fly by night extra evidence needed, jump through hoops, terrible support, bad customer relationship. If it wants to be the dirt cheap service and thinks this is how customers should be treated, then fine. People still working with them will get what's coming, but for me, the little cost savings are not worth the headache. Never thought I would say that in this space, I liked the idea of a no hassle bulk service, but they have intentionally become a hassle and hurdle to success. So if this is all your budget can handle, I get it and do what you need to do, but I will gladly pay for a better customer experience.

I just read all the rules. If you use the rithmic accounts you can’t open more than 10 contacts twice or you get banned and no payouts, and if you create more than one account without adding through your one already logged in same thing. There was one other thing that was on there. But if you use their tradeovate sign up you can use 1,000 contracts per order before disqualification

Although I like Quantower, Rithmic is the worst data provider I've used- at all prop firms. I've used Tradovate for 2 years and have not experienced any serious issues.

Exactly. The approval process sucks. It's been 11 days I have been waiting for approval for the latest one. Topstep processes same day if requested before 10am and its in the bank account the next day. So much better.

More and more ppl are cautious and stop trading after they request payout. And this will hurt the prop firm because the more you trade, the more likely you will blow your account. ( especially if you had Rithmic.) The longer they could delay the approval/deny the higher the chance you will have to skip the next request period because you didn't trade and waiting for the approval and the payout request timeframe will be very tight.

Hard to beat access to 20 accounts. If you have no intention of holding more than 5 accounts then do yourself a favor and go to another firm; especially if you don't like a lot of rules. It's wild how many people don't read the FAQ/RULES before signing up, then lose their sh!t when they break a rule that's clearly stated. Read the rules people. I've been using Apex since January, have had payouts every month since and have not been denied yet. My close friend was denied one payout cycle and started the typical sh!t talk then realized after review he DCA'd 3x in one trade...breaking a rule, lol. Needless to say he knows better now and hasn't been denied since. Now if you haven't been paid out and another cycle has come and gone and you can prove no rules were broken, then that truly sucks and you have every right to be livid.

Yea people that break the rules get no empathy for me, the worst thing about Apex is simply their customer service and time it takes to get payouts approved. That aside, getting paid on 20 accounts is still a huge edge for them as a firm

After reviewing your videos, we noticed that your trading strategy is to trade using 13 contracts then double your contract size to the maximum of 27 contracts. We will unfortunately need to deny your payout requests due to Improper Risk Management" . It is also not lost on me that EVERY SINGLE AFFILIATE is stating that the only people who are getting denied payouts are those that are breaking the rules. Its like everyone else except for affiliates had a secret meeting and decided to start blindly accusing APEX of improper payouts. So you accept they had crappy customer support but believe they were top-notch in everything else?

Our system caps your positions, so you will never be stopped out for trading more contracts in evaluation or funded accounts."

First I have traded over 10 years with a live ninja account. I believed in ap put alot of money in AP. But what broke my trust was not paying me over 4 payments over 2 monhts over 30 thousand dollars . Those are facts. After a decade of trading they treated me like crap no excuse . What payout "issue" has been "resolved?" Saying they "fixed all the issues" is worse than clickbait, it's a straight up lie. From the customer perspective, nothing has really changed... If anything, it's gotten worse. The payout denials and demands for video recordings of customer's trading sessions seem to be more numerous. It's also certainly not a good look that they would only reach out to big affiliates, while leaving their general customers completely in the dark. I really doubt it's a coincidence that you're one of the select few who got that email/video message from the CEO and you haven't personally had any issues. And shutting down the Discord after their own people made it a toxic cesspool (effectively removing the best way to get any sort of feedback) is not exactly "fixing" things. The reality is they are still crapping the bed on this whole thing.
