Day 1 player here: This is the best that Apex has been since they released Newcastle. I had to step away since mid-2022, but now it genuinely feels fun again. The MTX has always been awful, but the gameplay is peak. It feels like Season 3-Season 5 Apex.

Ive been playing since season 8 (hard stuck gold life) and dont think ive seen this many people that know how a mic works 😂

Its good to see people enjoy the game i havent been able to play it due to pc issues but apex even if it went kinda shitty the core gameplay to me got me hooked since s4 and from there i started to learn all about movement and were it came from and i have tbh its fun to troll or freak out people with diff strafes superglides and zip movement, but even so i have to say that i understand people who lost the love for the game as they loved all of the other things that apex had, but until they either kill it or just change things for good game will only go down and worse with time as devs and EA dont care anymore, thats sad for such a good game.

This shit is ass dude. Game is ass, greed is ass, the events are ass and theyre all just a god damn money grab, skins going up in price constantly, no more personal heirlooms, ranked changes every damn season, healer meta making every other fucken legend useless, as a current apex predator, held for the past 5 seasons, I wont be playing this game once this one is over. I cant blame anyone who quit.

stop playing the game competitively and spending money, and just play casual. Other than healing meta, which isnt that bad if you are good and im assuming a pred is good, the game is still fun to play casually with your friends.

I totally understand that bro, from a competitive standpoint, the game is horrible. I went in with extremely low expectations and didn’t play it seriously. So in my experience it was fun, but I get ur side!

@JayPohs if you're there to play the game to have a little silly fun its good sure, but from a standpoint of someone who's been in the competitive space for years now, plays events and loves the competition, they keep making such horrible choices. I can see the casual player loving this game, but for the ranked lovers, the people who've been day 1 this game is deteriorating itself. It's just not worth playing anymore. Which breaks my heart lol.

Money issues will always be there as long as EA is tied to the game, just don't buy the skins if you don't want to pay the price.. as far the meta changes, everyone hated gibby watson meta, so they changed it, everyone hated bang blood meta, so they changed it, everyone hated bang casutic meta, so they changed it, everyone hated cat horizon meta, so they changed it. I would much rather them at least address the meta concerns and change it until its healthy than play a game like COD where the same 2 guns are broken for the whole games cycle with little to no changes. And definitely more than Fortnite where so many things are added every season you basically have to learn a whole new game. Idk I see where you're coming from but in my opinion its nice to see that they actually try to switch it up after getting feedback which is way more than I can say for any other game dev.
