Unfortunately Dr. Reid's consciousness was transferred to a robot, she became a Simulacrum. It's the same thing as what Revenant is as he was supposedly killed and so he was turned into a super assassin. You actually have a fight with Dr Reid (first name Ash) in Titanfall 2 and she's considered one of the most iconic characters of the series

There were many ancestors of other legends who created Pathfinder. The blond woman who stabbed Reid is actually Wattson’s grandmother. In the photo where it showed all of Pathfinders creators, the man in the front right is one of Gibraltar’s ancestors (they don’t say what the relation is though from what I remember) and in the back left, Horizon’s son Newton is all grown up and there as well. So that becomes a thing Horizon is now doing. She is trying to get as much information as she can from Pathfinder about her son during the time she was gone.

To answer what a MRVN is, they're like general worker robots who just do tasks wherever they're stationed. You can see one at 14:34 on the right, with the rope. MRVNs typically just do whatever, which is why the soldiers thought Pathfinder was just doing tasks and not a combat-trained robot.

What’s crazy is, Ashley Reid becomes who we know as Ash. She’s an Apex Predator who worked for the old guy, blisk. She even eventually becomes Pathfinders “girlfriend” but he still hasn’t noticed who she really is 🤫 also, one of his creators is Newton Somers who was horizons son. Edit: I think Reid got Newton out of the lab before she raided it, so he actually lived out his life

Reid became a robot (like revenant, that one who killed Loba's parents) and was defeated when she was a mercenary. Ironically enough, Pathfinder found her in a dumpster and reassembled her. She became his "girlfriend" for some time. Hahah

The Mrvns are basically the worker robots that don't have any combat ability like Path and Rev.I never played titan fall so I'm not sure when they first appeared. In Apex, you can find them across the map of Olympus. They have slot machine MRVNS that gives you loot based on the color you get. If you're feeling devious you have the chance to destroy them, collect their arm, and put that arm on another MRVN to get the highest their of loot.

So I heard him ask “What’s a MRVN” and I’ve had my dad ask that question too, alongside a few others I’ve met on Apex who didn’t play Titanfall (I haven’t played it either, I definitely will when I get the chance) I do however have some idea of what a MRVN is, it’s literally just a robot designed for simple jobs that are too dangerous for humans, like how the Branthium was apparently really dangerous for people in the room with it while they were doing their work or whatever it was, and so they made a MRVN In Titanfall gameplay I’ve seen, I notice that MRVNs are kinda just there, oftentimes caught in the crossfire, and they can’t fight, they’re just bystander robots built for doing jobs too dangerous for humans, so that’s what makes Pathfinder so special, he’s a MRVN with combat protocols built into his systems, he knows and learns different fighting techniques, like in the Fight Night cinematic he learns some boxing techniques from Victor Maldera (the security guard) and that’s how he holds his own against the Spectre (the robot he fought), it even explains why Pathfinder’s heirloom is a pair of mechanical boxing gloves with springs built into them for an added punch, Pathfinder is one of if not the ONLY MRVN robot that can actually fight, but his main purpose was to assist the scientists working on the energy crisis, and when his memory banks were corrupted, he kinda lost his way as a MRVN, and he worked many jobs for free because the employers offered Pathfinder information on his creators that they didn’t have (they scammed him to get him to work for free) but it backfired because Pathfinder wasn’t built like the other MRVNs and so he couldn’t do the many jobs he was hired for, he couldn’t balance plates well enough in that gourmet kitchen, couldn’t dust the weird sculpture thing and keep it on its pedestal, causing it to fall and break, and while window cleaning is an easy job, the Humbert Labs incident with Caustic is probably what caused it to get shut down and lost Pathfinder his job (plus we saw him really thinking of how to wipe a window, really shows how messed up his systems are that he struggles just to wipe a window) He also couldn’t read weather reports properly, worked as a chef at the restaurant Loba’s parents were killed at (even witnessing Revenant killing Loba’s parents), was a pretty alright babysitter from the looks of things, witnessed QW (the mobster) murder a man, and many other jobs before he met Elliott Witt at a bar known as the Paradise Lounge, and bars can be breeding grounds for information, of course he’d end up there, where Elliott told Pathfinder he was being used by people to get free work out of him which really hurt him, but Elliott offered him something big, he told Pathfinder that he could join his team and compete in the Apex Games, and with his fame, make himself easier to find for his creators, even using money he got from the games to go to his efforts in finding his creators, and so Pathfinder joined the games, alongside Elliott Witt and Renee Blasey, AKA, Mirage and Wraith And so we come to the present where after finding information from the other legends having found connections to all of them being possible in his quest, that he eventually recovered his corrupted memories and put together the pieces of the puzzle, Ashleigh Reid attacked his creators during their work with the Branthium, and Pathfinder stopped her, resulting in her near death and the need to send as much Branthium out as possible before destroying the lab, causing Pathfinder to lose his memory and his creators to die Ashleigh Reid however survived her injury, and would go on to have her mind connected to a robotic body, creating what Revenant is, a robotic body controlled by the mind of a human that can no longer control their own human body, a Simulacrum, and Reid…is a FAR more terrifying Simulacrum than Revenant, not because she says menacing things or even because she looks super scary, but because she is just insanely skilled, even more so than Revenant Funny thing too is that Pathfinder found Ash after she’d been destroyed, and repaired her before calling her his girlfriend, he never found out that his supposed “girlfriend” was actually the woman who took his family away from him Now she’s in the Apex Games, and Pathfinder refers to her as his EX girlfriend…yikes Pathfinder is easily one of my all time favourite characters and was the first character I mained when I started playing simply because you can’t go wrong with funny robot man

I see many people in the comments have already tell you how Dr Reid is essentially immortal now and is Ash, have talked to Horizon who didn't realize is her and Ash feels somewhat guilty. We'll see how it develops overtime. However one tidbit on the group of scientists you see and the plaque on the statue. 1. The elder scientist lady you see is Amelia Paquette, who is actually WATTSON's Grandmother. 2.Dr Akeli Gibraltar. Well, this is also apparently Gibraltar's grandfather. 3. Newton Somers. Horizon's son. (Tho there's conflicting info saying that he wasn't there during the accident and as you can see from the horizon story, Newton actually grew old and died peacefully soooo it's safe to assume he wasn't there, plus no one there looks like him) For the other two we can only speculate who they are. But seeing when Pathfinder says thanks to his Apex Family where there's horizon, Gibraltar, Wattson, lifeline and mirage. The other two might have something to do with lifeline and mirage. Just a theory.

According to my knowledge of such plots (Thanks to league of legends and general knowledge) His "Kid" will be added to the game someday. I like Pathfinder. He looks dumb. Funny. And so lucky... I never played this game. Because theres is way too many games like these. I mean seriously! Is it the Golden Age of Battle Royale Games? Paladins. Overwatch. Fortnite. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. Firestorm. League of Legends. Smite. Dota 2. Heroes of the Storm. And the best part of this? Is that i can keep on counting. Without Including the new ones like Eternal Return (Yeah i played most of these games...) MMORPG Games are also increasing of course. But putting too much hours into one thing. Is becoming impossible nowadays... Many people switched to Battle Royale Games. I'm one of them. I used to play old MMORPG. Metin 2. PWI. WoW. Aion. Lineage. Memories in those games... But now its Battle Royale Everywhere... I'm not complaining about how many there are. Because most of them have an amazing Trailers and Videos. I just got too tired of playing too many games at once. By now i can almost play any new game as a professional. Thanks to all the different controls i go through every day XD (Gamer For Life).
