Because they are 2 separate items. You don’t unlock the death box skin when you unlock the cobalt altar. You unlock the death box skin by collecting all 36 items of the shadow society event and the cobalt katar is 1 of those 36 items. Hope this helps :)

@@in9644 Yes you can use both of them but in order to use the death box skin you have to purchase all 36 items from the collection event which is like $250-$300. If you have all 36 items then you can equip the deathbox skin in the “Loadout” tab in Apex. The cobalt katar is 1 of those 36 items so if you have the death box skin, you have the cobalt katar.

This map is olympus, its currently not playable as it isnt in the current map rotation but it will be playable with the update that comes out today. The map rotation will be changing with the update.
