Don’t assume it plays like (insert shooter) and start with the basics. The amount of people I know with 1000+ hours who haven’t yet started pinging drop, not landing on jm, looking around on drop, or basic movement like holstering astounds me. They all act with ego cause they were good at COD in 2003 and actively refuse to learn. See it all day in randoms too. lol

When I first started playing apex during szn 17, I was STRUGGLING. My friend recommended your channel and your videos really helped me get my bearings. I know a secret to playing with randoms. Pop in the game chat and say if we're going to go down quick, let's get it over with. And the reverse psychology will make them play like a good teammate. Works about 70% of the time.

Idk if placement really is king in ranked anymore. Because now if I have a game where we landed in a secluded place and we get to like top 10 we’re still negative in RP. But if we look for fights (in a smart way) and actually get kills the RP shoots up no matter how many teams are left.

Thanks for the tips man. Never in my life have I ever had to look up videos on how to get better in the game. I try solo queuing duo matches barely started last week and sometimes it’s hell man. Highest kills I had was 7 close to reaching 2K but that’s only one good match I guess:)

Terrible team comp in Tip 2. Im not going to pick Ballistic or Vantage. I mained Vantage for 4 seasons and her and Ballistics perks are terrible. You can just pick Bloodhound and Pathfinder....you get both beacons by using both and movement with Path for the team.

This is the one game, I can’t get the hang of, I been playing since season 0 and feel like I barely improved. Every other pvp game I have a 3kd or higher (yes I know KD doesn’t = skill) but this game, I can go multiple games without getting a kill. I mostly solo q but when I do have a team I do significantly better, but I want to get to the point where I don’t have to rely on 3 stacking like everyone else.

I do disagree with placement over KP. You need KP to level up. Without a single KP in Gold you’ll have to get Top 5 to get positive

Without placement, you won't level up and get fairly modest losses even at gold. At least with placement you'll mitigate losses.

@@TimProVision Agreed, there has to be a good mix, can’t play super aggressive and risk placement but you should only be taking smart fights. Early third parties are the best, than positioning, than getting a late 3rd Party, get around 4-8 kills total and win.
