i uninstalled apex last week after 400 hours of gameplay. i loved the game, it was addictive af but eventually i just couldn't deal with the long solo que times in ranked - only to die almost immediately as the lobbies were dominated by high ranked players.

I’m also a week one player from UK bro, I stopped playing maybe half a year ago. Recently started again and was playing so much better than before. I couldn’t even get past silver 4, I always solo q and the matchmaking is the worst I’ve ever seen. I knew EA never cared about this game around season 6 but kept playing. Everyone’s playing The Finals now including me so, screw EA

I stopped playing a few seasons ago completely (day 1 player) and probably wont come back because they will never fix the cheating issue, separating controller players from mnk players, remove sbmm from casual and ranked(lol). Im playing the finals atm but will also quit because of similar issues. Theres no good fps's right now, even csgo hit new low. I guess il move on from competetive games and do something else...

Cross play is actually the worst thing to happen to gaming imo too because controller players hate playing against MnK and MnK hate playing against controller players 🤣 and that's how I feel about competitive games right now too, I've just been enjoying single player games again

I have less of a problem with apex as a game and more of a Problem with the players who feel like they’re God’s gift to humanity. Apex isn’t boring but getting sh*tty teammates in a team based game is horrendous.

I'm a season 0 player as well and have slowly started playing less and less. i am competitive and play ranked. they messed up the ranked gameplay so bad that i hate it now and getting high kill games is almost impossible now with the hidden mmr. i hope they do something soon

I agree. But respawn has always been like this. The gameplay and engine has always carried the game. They’ve had shit for content from the start. It took them 12 season to release Control mode. And we didn’t get Mixtape till season 16. If there’s changes to be made, they’ll make them. It just takes them a year to implement.

I know it probably has no relevance here, but even if we blame EA, its going to be the higher ups and ceos of both companies. Because they make the decisions. For example, im a destiny player as well. We thought it was Activision being the issue as it was the parent company at the time 5 years ago. Fast forward to now, we realized ut was actually bungies higher yps makin gthe game worse. Because even if a dev wants to do something good for the health of the game, a higher up would shut it down.

I am OG too, played the first 18 seasons with all my spare time. I agree with all you guys. From season 17 they have ruined the games fun, appeal and competitive scene. MMR has gone and been replaced with a shitty Blizard Lion and Lamb system designed to get you to play longer. But it does the opposite, it just drives players away. I love Apex and I am not playing this game anymore, sadly. Great video man.

I agree with the 3 strikes and hidden MMR. I’ve been gold 1 all season when I always his masters or pred but my first game on today I was against Hal’s team and IM A GOLD 1 PLAYER NOT A TOP 150 PRED PLAYER!

I've been enjoying Apex up untill the new event dropped recently, for me I am having many issues I didn't have before. Sound issues: I can't hear footsteps or shots, the game play feels different and I less successful at hitting my shots or moving? Match making is totally broke, how can casual players like me play against hard-core players, we get destroyed in seconds of landing unless we go to far side of map and hide. Ruined the game for me and I probably will leave the game behind 💁‍♂️

im a beta player of titanfall 1, fast forward 10+ years and to see what has become of my favorite series turned into is depressing but at the same time not surprised as it is ea after all, the gunplay and the movement of apex is nowhere near as good and dont even get me started on how badly they botched the weapons for the sake of shielding and silly way of "balancing" apex is going out the way titanfall ended, the reason why they dont improve upon the game or even make radical changes to gain a bigger playerbase is simply due to the effect that the majority of the developers has left and formed into 2 teams, respawn is simply a name now and you can see it by their actions and the way how they handle that awful lore, their only hope of not becoming axed is if zimpella decides to pull out of dice and goes back to respawn in other other words its like kuban blisk going to the games right now and starts to take out the majority of the roster, reminding them of why apex predators are feared and revere

I plan on playing Titanfall 2's campaign at least sometime, I've never played titanfall except for the titanfall 2 beta and I didn't like it too much, I can't remember exactly why, but I think maybe it was the ttk was too fast

I played since 2016, I was never super good but evetually got better where I would start getting wins each session at least, with a few hundred hours in. Since the last update I can barely get past first drop, I can't tell what changed but the matchmaking can't be accurate because I know I was better than this? It's so annoying

Did you mean since 2019? But yeah the sbmm has seemed pretty brutal for the last 2 seasons. Somehow though I hadn't played for a little while and the last 3 matches I played were not too bad. We won the last 2 with the players in the first win seeming like bots 😂

@@ZackVogel20 Sadly I spent a lot of money on pack bundles and skins and with the packs I got a hierloom, tbh it didn't feel like 500 packs tho. Got the Lobas wishing I never spent money man it really sucks this game used to be good then all the sudden more events more recolors more everything all on the bad side. They want money they rather have money than make people happy and fix the game. Its sad really sad, love this game but the current state it is at I don't know if it's really worth playing/spending money.

also badges ranked are useless. Means nothing at all, hidden MMR, cheaters, boosting, all that badges are so much fun in the game getting a 2, 2.5, 3, 4 k dmg badge 20 bombs and even ranks all that gone I will miss the game and remember all the good memory's that this game gave me throughout out the years. Going to really miss it I will still play it but it won't feel the same.

@Oliver_Patz I was stuck just playing Apex for the longest time, but now I've really been enjoying single player games so much again, they're just so chill and it feels rewarding getting all the achievements in games again. You should try giving Apex a break and see if you find another game that gives you that same joy you used to feel with Apex man

It's definitely really hard for developers to make everyone happy since everyone will have different experiences and opinions, but that's why they should have no sbmm in pubs to make it casual and then have sbmm in ranked so its the best of both worlds imo

I really liked the regular BR when Three strikes was in the game. All the sweats were playing that game mode. The lobbys felt allot more balanced

in my opinion it would instantly become better if they get rid control in mixtape and delete olympus completely, if they actually made it 120 fps for console like they been promising, actually take action on people who leave game instantly after landing or getting knocked this is either a skill issue or popular opinion but get rid of the dang charge rifle already, worst gun to get on a hot drop. sorry not sorry to you wattson mains but wattson needs a nerf they always be camping with their ult and fences are a challenge most of the time, catalyst been getting nerfed a lot recently sadly where's wattson's nerf? Olympus and World's edge are actually my favorite maps, I think Olympus is most people's favorite actually. For me storm point is the map I can't stand. But I agree with 120 fps for sure they promised it how long ago

I just want solos, i solo queue already, have since week 1. if i try to play br im solo anyway 30 seconds into the match in 90% of my matches anyway. Whats worse is how hard the idea of solos gets gatekept. Like, players get legitimately offended when i talk about it. Iron crown was THE BEST LTM EVERRRRRR. Too bad it was all a scam to manipulate people into hating the idea of solos even tho every other "team game" ever has REAL solo options outside of that salt in the wound that was no fill. Nah, they used the iron crown shop to piss everyone off, then blamed it all on solos. Then gave us no fill to INSULT those still asking for solos, then they just fuckin left it like that for 4 years now. 4 years of ALWAYS BEING SOLO ANYWAY GETTING CHASED AROUND BY MAGICAL AIM LOCKING 3 STACKS BECAUSE I MADE A SHUFFLE NOISE. Then when i try to still enjoy myself, and play mixtape, solo on my xbox, IT PUTS ME IN GODDAMN PC LOBBIES in any gamemode other than goddamn gun run. The other night i was literally the only console player in a production yard control match. Idk man... Ive been playing way the fuck more destiny 2, and even warzone (REAURGENCE SOLOS BECAUSE EFF YOU RESPAWN IM GONNA HAVE FUN SOLO🖕AAAAAND BUY THEIR BATTLE PASS, NOT YOURS.) idk man... Im ranting... But apex is definitely in the piss poorest state its ever been in... But hey, at least 2 of the dogshit maps are going away on tuesday, we're getting KC and WE back with the final fantasy event :) good riddance rat point. Hopefully itll be another 3 seasons before youre back n ruining everything. Havent even touched ranked since day 1 of s17 when i played 1 match and my randoms STILL HOT DROPPED FRAGMENT AND INSTADIED. Its rough man... Playing copycats of yourself everysingle match is so boring, and then making it worse, your teammates are not copycats of yourself so you have to play as 3 people by yourself. I understand some people are not that good or whatever but not only are they screwing over the good player having to fight sweaty 3 stacks alone, but they are also screwing over the not so good player being in a lobby they don't belong in. I think if they just had solo mode in the game it would make everything better, but they wont because it goes against their system they have in place. They want the sweaty solo to carry the two bad teammates so the two bad teammates stay on longer. They know the sweaty player will stay on regardless the bad players (if not winning, will leave) thats the main reason they won't add solos. All about player retention

I actually loved the solo mode they had as an LTM in an older season, but as I mentioned in this video about 3 strikes, it was just an ltm and then they just disappear and it goes back to being dogass

@ZackVogel20 3 strikes should be a permanent public match option, the game is so unplayable in mixtape pubs and ranked. I mean ranked itself doesn't even play like ranked. The rank system doesn't even matter because you could be a diamond player but now your stuck in gold because you barely get point but you can be in gold but your "hidden mmr" puts you with diamond players because all of your mmr is the same. Your not even playing against gold people in gold ranks they literally mean nothing now. I love the core of apex but I'm honestly just so done dealing with all the crap it carries. Just not healthy for my mental, they tried to make this game so damn addicting but now it's way to much and making people leave.
