The majority of the balencing and ability problems come from the pros and their winning , they complained when they would get third partied (a Natural occurence in br) so the only solution was tò change the map and remove some of the classic pois. That was acceptable but then they started complaining about Legends because they are crybabys everytime they die from a wattson fence or got destroyed by a rampart minigun , so came the Nerf storm. Now the top pros complain that the game Is either too Easy or that its too hard. All while EA hijack the direction of the game and are Just farting around trying to squeeze Money from the playerbase

bro I LOVED Unreal Tournament That game WAS my childhood!... it makes me sick you can't buy the games ANYWHERE anymore. Epic with their BILLIONS of dollars refuses to support the Unreal IP even a little bit. You cant even buy the games anymore on *any* platforms other than owning a physical copy you bought on Ebay. They dont even have any servers up for their old games for people who still own the games...just allow people to play the classic games...Unreal is the franchise that built Epic and put them on the map and they are too busy counting money from Fortnite to even care about their old school customers. Steam still lets you play and download counter strike/half life and team fortress 2... the new Amazon's secret levels series had an amazing Unreal episode and it almost made me cry... I miss that game so much and just would love to have it installed on my PC.

One thing I'm not seeing anybody mention about the new engine is will it support last gen consoles still? There are still plenty of players on PS4 (half of all Playstation users still were on the older console as recently as May 2024) and likely XB1 as well. All expected criticisms aside ("it's been over 4 years upgrade already bro," "last gen is holding the game back," etc.) I'm genuinely curious if they'll continue that last gen support, and if there will be a significant impact to the player count (or improving the base quality of the game itself for that matter) by restricting 2.0 to current gen consoles only.

@deionlowe1066 yup our house use both a current gen system and last gen ones, the latter for kids and casual play. That's why I'm curious given the user base numbers out there. When engine update rumors began a year or two ago, I expected last gen support still. But being this much later into the current console cycle and a "2.0" designation I expect it will in fact leave the last gen behind. I just hope they'd officially announce supported platforms for 2.0 sooner rather than later, to give more time for people to consider budgeting for upgrades or not.

HATE to be that guy but its been 5 years and people who have upgraded are being held back by old gen consoles, its time to upgrade. IK u said that but like people cant expect newer titles or upgrades to be catered to them when they have potential to do so much more with newer consoles and pc hardware. If someone has a ps4 or xb1 and expects this or any future title should make the game for that console theyre the problem.

How instead of being so negative we look at the things they have implemented for next season it’s a big change and the players, hence being you guys, will be coming back in bunches. Game is far from dead just needs love. Servers take a long time to actually do it right and get it right so don’t hold your breath. Instead just thank for the changes and go from there. Also bashing the game and saying where was this last season well guess what may be late but it got done. There’s no shooter like apex and never will be a better one.

I don’t watch this channel much anymore but one thing they should definitely do in the near future is add some sort of region lock to ranked so that players aren’t able to manipulate matchmaking, get bot lobbies, and free pred badges. (90%+ of all apex predator players do this every season) mad corny and delegitimizes the ranked experience. Console ranked, as a whole, at this point is basically just a boosting service for free pred badges.

How in the world do you gather they mean to bring an engine update because Andrew Wilson said the game hasn’t been doing well? In no way is he even insinuating an engine update, he’s just talking about the state of the game and probably how little focus they’ve had on apex for quite a while.
