Apex Legends Says They "FIXED" 120 FPS for Console . . . Did They?

Here is what Respawn said in their mid season patch notes under bug fixes - "Dynamic resolution scaling no longer incorrectly decreases resolution on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S which could cause a blurry image especially in Performance Mode" www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/shadow-society-event What do you think? Dude i run a GTX 1650 with an i5 10300H which on paper is weaker than the PS5/XSX yet my gameplay is buttery smooth and i dont notice blur at 144fps and these mfers at respawn cant make the game look better with more powerful hardware 😭😭😭😭

It's defnitely smoother but that blurriness is still there around 100 meters and on. Its so odd that this is the only game this happens on. Sometimes I'll get killed by a guy just outside my non blurry range and he'll look like a blurry speck on my screen.

I only experienced blurry visuals at the seasons launch. Everything seems to be working fine for me.

The 120 fps on console is so inconsistent with the amount of frame drops that happen during fights

I like 120 fps just hate the resolution so I went back to ps4 version with 60 fps and it felt amazing

No reason they can’t fix 120FPS on console. It was running fine on Xbox One/PS4 and the graphics haven’t really gotten much better. They trying to tell us it won’t work on brand new hardware? I can get 60fps4k on this budget $600 build with a 6500xt I made 2 years ago but they’re saying they can’t push out 120fps on 1080p? Just bad optimization. For god sakes the finals has better graphics, freakin ray tracing, and rock solid 60fps on an XBS at 1080p. Shits crazy.

Yeah it’s not true 60fps, if you go watch those frame test it fluctuates from like 56-60 a LOT. Which is not a big number, but the inconsistency is what brings the choppy feeling

For me it looks much better but I haven't used it since it launched. Try changing your resolution to 1440 or 1080

frankly they fixed fuckall, the blurryness comes on at intervals, sometimes it looks like i need prescription glasses and other times it looks fine, while it does also make seeing anything above 120 -150~ meters basically impossible, anything above a 2x acts as a workaround so you can actually sorta see if what you're aiming at is a revenant tryna sneak up on you or just a trash bin, i've also noticed that during games, with performance mode, (haven't tested regular) your ping cosistently tends to rise, yesterday it went anywhere from ~70 to ~110, as of writing this, frankfurt 1 server states 37 ping, no PL, testing on storm point i've gotten, again, ~70ping, this one could either be related or it could just be apex servers doing what they do best, have no idea i'm ignorant about server stuff maybe someone can explain it to me like a 5 year old

It was blurry at the start of the season but after going back and fourth 120fps is definitely better so much smoother and I don’t notice it being blurry now I don’t know if I just got used to it or they changed it but it’s definitely better than 60fps

On ps5 I suggest turn off HDR and active 1440p it is much better👍
