@@TheLongDon Not at all. I would probably be a Rampart main if it wasn't for the fact that her kit is more movement constricting, but other than that, she's pretty well balanced for having a kit like that.

@@donttouchmyankle Yes, in a game where movement means everything, Rampart is useless. Maybe in extremely situational instances is she good, but that's true for literally any legend, but to a lot more situations than just being able to camp circle. She's trash. Only her passive is good

@@TheLongDon Movement isn't everything in Apex. If you look at a good portion of the clips that come from players, they win mostly out of positioning and not being really good at movement. But I get your point, and will still have to disagree with you about her being trash. Practice makes perfect, and if you practice enough, you can use Rampart very aggressively. For example, look at a few of TGM clips/videos of him using Rampart. Jesus Christ he's really fucking good at Rampart. Anywho, to sum it all up, I don't think she's useless, but I don't think she's at the top of the list either. She's good middle ground if you ask me, and can be utilized really well in the right hands.

It makes me very sad, considering I like every defense oriented character. Caustic was my main for a long, long time, then I got into playing Rampart too, then Wattson as well. Now I’m sort of stuck in this limbo state where even Gibby feels a little worse than he used to be. I especially miss Caustic’s gas actually being a deterrent. It’s effectively a cloud made of pure concentrated: “It hurts, but meh, I’ll rush because no consequences.”

As a Caustic main who even has the Death Hammer I feel betrayed when the developers say they like where caustic is right now. He's incredibly weak right now and is the 4th lowest picked legend in the game only beat out by Fuse, Rampart and Watson. Edit: They also left his gas density bug which was supposed to be fixed in season 9 like with Bangalore. But instead they say they like where he is because he's a "Monster in the Fog".

In my opinion Bangalore is still very very underrated, and in arenas she is actually terrifying. U can reliably get a thermal scope on a wingman and an smg/shotgun and use the smokes not only as a defensive ability to run away and heal, but u can put them down and stay inside them and just look around and shoot ppl with your thermal scopes without anyone being able to see u, they only cost 50 so u can buy a few and still have enough money for a battery and sometimes a few nades. Also her passive works amazing in arenas because u can quickly move into cover without being afraid of a third party. I would also argue that she has the best reviving potential in arenas because lifeline doesn’t have shields and for gibby, if u need to revive then it means that the other team has more players alive and they can just come inside ur dome without any real danger because they r either 3 on 1 or 2 on 1 and even that is only if u have one other teammate alive. On the other hand, Bangalore can revive in the smoke without being seen and she can exit the revive and play around the smoke as an offensive ability as mentioned before if she hears ppl coming. Altho, bloodhound is a way bigger threat to her in arenas because he can basically scan the whole area so she needs to be careful and use the smokes when she knows he can’t scan so bait scans or just wait for them (or if u have enough smokes u can just play regularly and if he scans u can just run away and do it again because u have 2 smokes and he has 1 scan)

Personally I would put valk in S teir. I’ve been playing her since her launch and I can definitely say once you get good with her passive, it is the best passive in the game. The boost canceling with her passive give a lot of speed and makes her unpredictable in the air, be that off of a zip line, a building, or a jump pad. I don’t use her tactical as much as I should, but her ultimate is simply overpowered. You can use it to escape from most situations, you can use it to aggressively push/chase teams who are running, and it is also a third partier’s dream. Her skydive scans are essential at the start of the game to easily tell how many people are dropping with you , and are also very useful mid game with her ult and jump towers. That is why I think she should also be in a teir

You forgot, another large lifeline buff. It's been frustrating a few times against no cool down between revives. I remember she would drop doc for player2 with shield, then have to manually revive player3. Now I just drop 2 docs, revive both players while suppressing the enemy. It's NOICE

@@quianims3673 her jetpack, is so powerful in intense fights. Her repositioning is insane. Her passive that tracks other teams on landing is super useful for comp and ranked. Her ultimate even strengths her repositioning. Her tactical is useful. And because she can scan for zones, she really seems like a good legend. Well this is my opinion

I love Rampart but the huge issue is that the wall takes too long to build and 45 health on build is nothing heck you don’t even need a sniper to break it instantly just use a Wingman.

I was wondering - today Octane is considered a prime legend for "his ability to reposition the whole team with his ultimate", yet a couple of seasons before all of the lists had him on C rank (before the change of the Jumpad jumping arc). Did Octane actually change this much, or it is the meta that changed - pushing out the defensive Wattson and Caustic - to more agro Octane, Revenant?

Mirage massive buff on the line: + When ever he uses his Q, he invisible for 5s. This also match with his Z too. "These changes will make he good and can compete with S tier! In fact, he was a Holographic Trickster. "Trusted your eyes and you lose". Balance purposes: - His cool down is 1 min per Q (Yeah! Another + : he has 2 Q Stack) and 3 min for Z - He still can be tracked by foot step. (Try out a good headset on, you can hear it more clearly, duh...!) - If you have all shadow sunset on (which on PC we dont do that cuz shadow sucks :)), you can see his shadow anyway. P/s: Sorry, I'm trolling but hey, I really want to see invisible Mirage one again!!!

a good caustic will set up traps in key locations of the point of interests to gather info and to create choke points. if used properly, you can use your ultimate to flush players from their cover after winning a trade and finish them off. Most people panic when caught right in the middle of a caustic ult

Wraith, gibby and bloodhound I agree with, they were a part of the 'meta 5', for lack of a better word, in season 8, along with octane and horizon, but since octane and horizon were nerfed, I don't think you ranked them correctly. Octane would be a solid A right now, but not an A+, his stim just does too much damage. As for horizon, she deserves at least A+, because sure, you can't strafe anymore, but her lift is still insanely useful in a lot of situations and her ultimate can take down entire squads.
