this to me is really telling that something is very out of sync at respawn. they teased this weapon a month and a half ago.. and finally added it.. but it's only in a pubs takeover and is EXTREMELY rare in the single mode it's in... why? they're trying so hard to balance the game for competitive integrity but don't even have a good ranked mode! and the actual e-sport scene for apex is the lowest its been in years! they should have added the epg to all game modes with season launch and just let it be a fun seasonal chaotic weapon.

They put it so rare to force players to spend a lot time to search it and the relic challenge is "Get 1 kill with the EPG" to force even more the players to find it. I love the fact that they talk about "competitive integrity" and yet you get kill by a random player that runs behind you, opens a door and you have no sound clue at all and lets not forget when you close a door and you still get killed ( I saw the door close in my game and even in the kill game. Not even going to talk about the broken aim assist

@DriftDreamer man the server latency and sound cue glitches are driving me nuts! The amount of times I've closed a door and been killed a second after the door has closed, or for example shot my shotgun shot on a guy and it doesn't register for a whole second (then I die) or getting shot around corners when I'm quite literally 1-2 metres around that corner is just nuts. And yeah the sound cue bugs are sooo frustrating. You'll just get beamed by someone who has ran up behind you and there won't be any footsteps or anything else, just their gun shooting you but by the time you've even had a chance to react you're dead. And it's not like there's so much noise going on around you that it obfuscates those footsteps.. most of the time when that sound cue glitch happens to me the environment and surroundings around me is dead silent. Sometimes the cues work so it's 100% just a bug where the code for the footsteps etc isn't triggered or something maybe who knows the game is super buggy atm

Boohoo, the op gun has red rarity😿If it were more common, ppl would complain that it's everywhere and it needs a nerf, that you can't play pubs anymore. If it would be nerfed, ppl would complain it's a gimmick, and it's useless. You can't win, ppl just like to hate and complain.

It's been a looong time since the EPG was teased and then not found in the game. It only took the release of other popular games and a decline in player count for them to finally add it into the game. Maybe my queue times will go down from 5 min to 3 now...

Ngl it’s not too late but kind of perfectly timed. POE2 insane difficulty starts after you spend around 1 month in the game. Marvel rivals insane fun until your mmr starts to settle on rank mode and casual mode starts to become stale. Game reward events. This gun coming now. Ngl It makes me wanna come back for 1 week to try and then dip back into the new games.

According to the playercount today, everyone was like: "Cool." Tested it out for a few minutes in the firing range and then left the game again. Atleast that is how it went for me. I think they really expected the playercount to spike like on the season start when they added this after 45 days of waiting, but yeah... apex is not revived by adding another stupidly OP item into the game that was teased for half a season and is only fun when *you* have it yourself, but extremely annoying when someone else uses it against you.

I tried it yesterday, spent like 2 hours looking for it and only found it once, got a couple of kills with it and then I got killed by the usual pred stacking team and quitted the game. Fun gun to use, in the firing range. Having fun in this game is almost impossible, no matter the meta, the mode or whatever. Unless you have a premade team to play with constantly

The movement and gunplay of apex will always be great, but other than qol and balancing, the game is just really stagnant. It doesn’t help that Respawn seems deaf to players until everyone has alreayd given up on them. It’s just a combination of disconnect between respawn and the community and general stagnation in the gameplay
