All jokes aside, I feel like there aren't many games that are as well made as apex, and that's why people hate and love it. The problem with having such a good game is that people expect more and more. If all the issues people constantly mention and complain about overrode the greatness of the game, then there wouldn't be so many people still. Although it may be suffering, it's suffering we endure with a side of pleasure. Hopefully, improvements will slowly rack up. TLDR; apex good still, people like, it suffering, Unga bunga. @Anh Kim I don't necessarily agree. The problem seems to be that they aren't continuing their growth in a way that is suitable to the desires of the players. They are just making decisions based on what looks good on paper. If they hadn't already made a game worth playing, on top of not listening to players, this game would be virtually dead. They already have a fantastic game, far beyond most, currently. In terms of mechanics, at least.

It’s not that people expect more, I expect the basics from any game and still they manage to disappoint. GOOD SERVERS, not having to disconnect every other game because of packet loss. GOOD RANKED SYSTEM AND REWARDS, don’t put golds/plats against master/preds and Apex is the only game I know of where you lose your ranked rewards after getting them, makes no sense.

@Juan Liñares tbh, I don't understand the issues people have with the servers. For me, it isn't usually a problem. At least, not any more than any other game. But yes, people definitely expect more out of apex than, say, fortnite. Just because you think some way doesn't mean others are on the same boat. There are clear improvements that fortnite should make to just its basic mechanics, yet you don't see people rioting over that. It's because they don't expect much from such a game. Apex is much different, however. It's a great game in just about every way. So, a lot of people expect it to continue with that pattern. Sadly, it's losing the fire it once had.

Oh but it did, that's why I'm done playing. Their moderation team is non-existent, they're pay-to-earn cosmetics are recycled and lack any sort of new creativity, they don't listen to any feedback, can't be bothered to do cross-progression because that's a lot of money EA won't get with being slimey POSs. So many hackers in lobbies, it's f*cking mindnumbing and I'm sick of playing.

(diamond is basically master lobbies) but ever since this split started. me as a current plat 3 getting a bronze 4 and gold 3 vs champion squad featuring #70 pred and his teammates was something else. i have never seen a lobby die so quickly in rank, 4 teams before ring 2 closed.

4:36 - 4:42 this still happens to me all the time *80% of my life playing apex ranked I've always been rookie or bronze, in season 4 I was silver, season 5 I was gold.* KEEP IN MIND: I have 89 wins in br and 266 wins in arenas, all of which were me having "too much fun" whoch is what respawn and EA think in their lego brick sized brains. So they put me in diamond platinum master pred, and TTV lobbies😭😭😭 and it's PAIN, so painful in fact, I might as well be Shaq sleeping. All seriousness, I only play casually because i like to goof off and have fun, not play like it's an 8 billion dollar tournament. The ranked system needs to get an overhaul because it is not skill based matchmaking, it is actually this: *"let's put the diamonds, platinums masters, preds and TTVs in the make a wish lobbies because they give us alot of money so we cater to them over casuals because who cares"* In conclusion: *even though the new mixtape mode is fun and definitely the right game mode for me, it won't change the bullshit of all of us casuals being put in platinum, masters, pred and TTV lobbies. The system is built to punish people for having fun and they seriously need to fix it before the game dies. And also have a better anti cheat because it's just as bad as COD's Ricochet anti cheat. Man I'm glad I'm not the only one struggling with the servers. Half my games have the worst lag and it just makes the game unplayable. And it's always the games where I have a good momentum and pop off then suddenly I can't walk through a frigging door. I really enjoyed this season drop, was so hyped about the new map and now I'm glad to put apex down til the next season. Really hope they get the issues resolved soon so I can look forward to coming back and playing again.

I am a Season 0, Gutter-Tier Ranked player that has a hard time in Ranked and hit Diamond for the first (and probably final) time in Season 13. Now in Season 15 my bizarre adventure in Ranked has turned into a living hell, not to mention that I've stopped playing in Split 2 since they literally tuned off matchmaking and I'm in Sliver 4 from Gold 1 ( from Split 1) now fighting Masters and Preds. I think they did a pretty good job so far

I don't even touch the game anymore. My KD is literally 0.0025, and yet I'm still getting people super-gliding off my head only to tap-strafe back in front of me and then go right back behind me. Gaining high rank felt like the most pointless thing ever, I hit diamond was hoping to go for masters only to realise no one plays above diamond rank in Singapore1 and the lobby I did get into has 280ms for me 😅. It was kinda bitter sweet journey but there is no reward at the end. The only thing for a normal person gets from it is that he can go around saying he has that rank and that's about it , something meaningless u can brag about🤣

As a solo player I got to diamond back in season 3, after that I told myself never again, as much as I enjoy Apex pushing for a high rank solo is a truly abysmal time. You'll get one good game and then your teams will just destroy your points with insta drops into the most contested places on the map, die instantly and then 70% of the time blame you for being bad at the game.
