Which do you perform most? Enhancement, One Step, Multi Step?

That depends on what the customer wants, but mostly, in my case, it is enchantment and coating, and then the second one is one step.

Great video Brian as always. You are the master. With a working fleet of 600+ vehicles just fast one steps. I don't need perfection just 5 footers. I do get to test products I personally buy in real world harsh conditions which is pretty cool.

Very informative video Brian! Honestly is not a bad thing for remake videos like these cause I’ve seen this topic before but you may have new tips or tricks. I either do polish or paint enhancement, maybe one steps. Majority of my customers don’t care for the scratches. They want the gloss and protection.

Brian, thanks for this. I've yet to even try to polish my car but now I have a much better understanding of the types of correction. Before they were just in a "finish" category but now I can see what each one does. My cars have never been corrected but aren't as marred as this test panel. I think the one step would work for me. Thank you again for putting this out!

This does help explain some things. What i'm curious about is say you have a newer vehicle thats a daily driver, usually parked outside, and is about a year or so old. No major paint damage, as in huge gashes or scratches. If you wanted to properly detail the thing, would you do a full 2-3 step correction? Only an all in one? Just the enhancement? Or maybe like a light 2 stage, where you don't go super aggressive with the cutting step; either use a medium cut compound/pad, followed by a finishing polish/pad; or just do a very quick pass of a heavier cut/pad combo, followed by a longer finishing polish/pad step.

Great video Brian, thanks a lot for putting it out. I have a woodworking background and when I sand a piece, I go over it with several pass in a quite rapid manner, until the sandpaper wears out. I wonder why is it not the same when polishing? Especially since moving slowly has the risk of elevating the panel temperature? Thanks a lot for sharing all your knowledge!

My ceramic coating failed, and I need to polish it off and reapply. Paint is still good. Is a one-step the way to go?

Excellent reminder. Cool video. Would you consider wet sanding certain troubled spots and then polishing the entire car a 2 step? Kinda makes sense calling it a 2 step, but sometimes wet sanding problem areas makes whole job look like a 1 step. Just wondering. Good visual video Brian.

That one step has left visual haze in the paint compared to the two step. Imperfections aside, would you be able to achieve the same level of gloss and clarity seen in the two step by altering your pad/product/technique combination?

Question, so you mainly do a one step because how thin the clear coats are now, are new cars only able to be polished “1 stepped” once in its lifetime? If not how often can you do a 1 step and after a 1 step how often a enhancement?

I need some advice. I have a 2016 jetta gli sel in Deep black pearl. The clear coat on this paint is extremely hard. Utilizing a Euro fiber pad and aod papa cut and 5 inch DA polisher. What do you recommend to take out very fine whirl marks in vw hard paint? Is there a better a better one step option than papacut?

I've always wondered how many times you can do a paint correction or enhancement before you've removed all of the clearcoat and possibly burning the paint. I realize it depends on the manufacturer of the vehicle and the condition the paint is in.

Thanks for the very interesting now what I would really like you to do is on a test panel compare using one drop two drops three drops maybe 5 Droid of polish ... I watch another KZbinr that has his own product.. and he says one drop is all this necessary and that two or more starts to actually slow you down and makes it take.. so how about we put some science behind it and see if you don't know the detailer I mean you do know him I can tell you which one
