You can just put a password on the server you create and only give it to friends

It's absolutely insane how you have to pay for a normal server after already paying for the entire game. More people would definitely play ark if you could just run your own world without a tether, like any other game

I always used Apex Hosting for my Minecraft servers, I can always say they have amazing customer service, always responds to my requests right away. I never had an issue with Apex if anyone is wondering, I'd definitely recommend them.

Hello, my friend opened a local server and when he entered the server, the graphics were worse than I have ever seen. When he enters on another server or in single player, it is quite normal. Ok, I have a problem. I'm on a PC, and when I get done loading into the non dedicated server, I go to invite my friend ( he's on Xbox ) the invite option is not there and I can't invite him through the game bar. If your friend bought the game from Microsoft and you bought it from steam you can't play together. You would have to re buy the game from Microsoft in order to play with your Xbox friend.
