and I personally (i'm American) greatly admire the Chinese. they're hardworking, family oriented, very business savy, they've been around for forever and a day so clearly they must be doing something right, not to mention you guys have the best food bar none! .....now I want Chinese food and we don't have a Chinese restaurant in my town. sadness.

I'm not exactly an American. In fact, I'm a Chinese. But I love America. I love how he's always positive. I love how that no matter how childish he acts, I know that he will always be there. I know that he doesn't mean to be a nuisance to others and that doesn't mean to cause so much trouble. And I know he will always be my hero. Our hero. No matter what people say, I'll always stand up for him even though I'm not from that country. America will always be by favorite character no matter what.

Even though he stuffs his face with burgers and is totally full of himself, he is a real hero with an incredible personality. I think that alfred represents the American spirit something many americans have forgotten. Its something that allowed us to all of the things in our past that made other countries respect us, and actualy admired us. Now they see us as a people that only cares about socal media, and complaining about things that we personaly could change for the better, things that we depend on others to do taking our freedom for granted. Lets bring Alfred back!

It sorta puts out the fact that America tends to...Pester in everyone's business (Which he does on the show) but he means well, like you said, he just wants to be a hero XD He's still young, like our nation. With a LOT of power. So I think he's portrayed in a...practically accurate way, and I love him for that. France, again, means well and is a amusing character, but he just has a odd way of showing his...feelings....Eheheh XD But I love ALL of the characters, none I dislike one bit x3

Thank you! Us Chinese don't really get much compliments due to racism... however, I have many friends from different cultures that stand by me. I have friends that are South African, Spanish, Indian, Filipino, British, Dutch... we always back each other up no matter what. Anyway, that aside, Chinese food is amazing! You don't have a restaurant near you? Well that's the total opposite to me since everywhere I go, there is one! But I have to admit, they are delicious!

Yeah I agree with you. I have two friends from both Chinese and Spanish parents and a cousin who is half Native American. My main family is from Czech Republic and Germany. So I understand. Please say thanks to your friends for me. Chinese and many religious needs to know that many people appreciate everything they do for all of us.

It's America's attitude that makes me proud to be American. The Axis point of view from Hetalia might make us seem annoying, but we are the world's youngest superpower for a reason! Our economy and everything else is down the drain, but we need to stand up again and start acting. We need to start being heros again. I say we bring Alfred back, guys.

I TOTALLY agree. Many people I've talked to believe that Alfred is a really shallow character because of how he acts. I don't believe that, and not just because I'm proud to be an American, I believe that Alfred is a very complex character, and that he just puts up the "shallow" front to stop people from knowing his true power. The power that made us free, the power that got us to the moon, the power that allows disabled children to go to school. That, in my opinion, is Alfred F. Jones.

It was an Honor to serve ma'am. I mean yes he is there and will always be there to help, but in the end it is the politicians who make him look like the enemy and that is why this country has so many enemies and very few allies. But yes america is a very complex character and if you notice, he could break down and easily turn into russia in a split second. but he is strong enough not to, for the good of the people, land, and flag.

I could probably guess what would happen. The same thing that happened last time. I doubt that any State that broke off would be willing or able to take on its portion of the national debt along with its own. On top of all there's the price for the railroads, mail systems, and any other federal property that would then be on foreign soil. And of course any said States could no longer rely America's resources or loans to help pay for all of that. Oh right, they would also need a new military.
