Song: by Sound Horizon
Therein begins the long process of redoing this.
The full version of the song's lyrics and this version' s translations will be found here: sites.google.co...
The fool asked, why the king went to the battlefield where he wouldn't have the advantage of the terrain.
The wise knew that, there was no option but to fight in order to defuse such situation as being besieged by multiple armies.
A.D.1756 the Seven Years' war.
The Diplomatic Revolution by Maria Theresa who was the queen of Austria, led to the formation of the League of Three Petticoats.
Austria also gained Hungary, Saxony and Sweden as the allies.
They intended to surround Prussia and regain Silesia.
Ivan : We'll help you out, so let us advance southward. (kol☆)
Francis : You shouldn't make ladies angry very much.
Holding the noble double-headed eagle at the chest,
Let's march forward together, our allied armies.
In response, Prussia formed an alliance with the UK,
Forestalled the plot, went on a raid while advancing, invaded Saxony.
The jet-black banners were racing through the reddening battlefield.
The heroes in Rosbach.
March forward, our brave Landeskinder.
A.D.1759 August, the Battle of Kunersdorf.
A total of eighty thousand soldiers that consisted of the Austrian army led by Laudon and the Russian army, joined together near Kunersdorf.
The Prussian army led by Frederic, which consisted of forty-five thousand soldiers, crossed the Oder river in the southern part of Kustrin.
[Prussia national anthem]
And when the evil storm myself quarry umsauset ,
And when the vicious storm myself quarry finds,
Night be aroused in the lightning's glow ,
Which hast but already, anger in hand, been wrought 'gainst the world.
but what trembled not, was the Prussian courage.
Rock may break and oak tree shatter, I will not tremble;
it shall blow, it shall crash, flashs of lightning wildly cross the sky:
I am a Prussian, I will a Prussian be.
[Austrian National Anthem]
Strongly feuded for, fiercely hard-fought for,
You lie in the middle of the Continent
Like a strong heart,
Since the early days of the ancestors you have
Borne the burden of a high mission,
Much tried Austria.
The burning battlefield. The soldiers were falling over.
The king was targeted. The approaching enemies.
Squeezing the trigger on horseback, aimed at their prey.
The bullet was fired, grazed the king's military attire.
The king fell from his horse. A man darted out.
Repelling the blade which swept down to his king.
Two men faced each other.
Gilbert : What are you doing to my precious king.
Roderich : You Obaka-san(You foolish man), give back my vital regions to me!
Roderich : I have no intention of having mercy on you.
Gilbert : You coward, you can't do anything alone.
Roderich : I would rather hear from anyone but you.
Roderich : Invasions, betrayals, the militarist Prussia.
Gilbert : I'll fight even if I'm all alone. As long as my king lives...
Roderich : Wait, Obaka(you fool)! You...are you thinking you can match the powerful countries of which you make enemies?
Gilbert : For today, I'll withdraw.
Gilbert : Roderich, don't you forget the name of the man who will defeat you.
Gilbert : His name is, "Gilbert Weillschmidt"!
Black steed dashed like wind on narrow mountain paths.
On the horseback was a silver-haired man in dark blue,
Being accompanied by his injured soldiers, sped toward north.
Character names are preferred in the comments, rather than nation names. Thanks.

@MvuaNdege Hahaa, agreed! My knowledge of history is only limited to those, as well. Fifth grade was all about the American Revolution, sixth was about pirates and the South American countries, seventh was about ancient civilizations of the world-ish (briefly learned about the Chinese and Japanese), and lastly, eighth was all the start of America and the Revolution and all other historical documents that went along with it... So with that, I agree about learning about others as well(:

@MvuaNdege I've heard that Americans study most of the time their own history, but I didn't knew you study almost only that! That's a pity because there's many interesting stories in many other land's histories too! We in Finland study all those histories you have mentioned, also American history. :'3 But there must be some reason for your schools to teach you only American history and just little other histories...(?) But anyway, this video was very cool! *_* (continues in next comment...)

That's true, all through high school it was all about dates names and more dates. But once I hit college, the professor I had was amazing. He was more concerned with the little details. And that refired my interest in history. And Hetalia has opened up history outside of the US. Which is groundbreaking as most of US public education systems stress only American history and thats it. It's like "If America wasn't there it didn't happen" That always made me mad.

I love this vid, thank you so much for subs! But the translation is wrong, at one point. In German, "brav" means "well-behaved." So at 1:14, it means more like "Well-behaved subjects" (I used "subjects" because I think those are Francis and Arthur, and the Seven Years War was also fought in India and the American colonies, and Indians or Americans would not be British "countrymen," I think.)

See, with the Seven Year's War, there were technically three warfronts; Europe, India, and North America(aka the French and Indian War for all us Americans). The warfront in Europe ended in 1763 with the Peace of Hubertsburg, which returned everything taken (except Silesia) to the natural owners. India was taken in the name of the British by Robert Clive and gained it as a territory with the Treaty of Paris in 1763. And the English won in NA and gained land up to the MS River from France.

I am a citizen of Germany !!!! I am a German. But I am not a Bavarian, nor a Saxon. I'm Prussian, my home state belonged to Prussia, my ancestors were/are all Prussians, the people are German of course but also Prussian. By the way, this has absolutely nothing to do with Hetalia. I would say the same if I wouldn't be a fan. And I never said I'm a "citizen" of Prussia, cause this isn't true. I said I'm Prussian, cause my ancestors were/are and deleting a name doesn't change who the people are.
