Arcangelo has now won races at 1 mile, 1 1/8 (G3), 1 1/4 (G1) and 1 1/2 (G1). Almost all of them, tight pack stretch battles. I am so excited for the races to come. Quite the horse, and I love the crew behind him!

and again, just like after the Belmont, Arcangelo completely pulled away from the rest of the field in the gallop out...now, this time, he had a shadow - Disarm - but Arcangelo maintained his winning advantage (about a length) almost the entire gallop out

What an historical win here for this horse first female horse Arcangelo n first female trainer Jena . I wish I could have bet this race . I love this horse n trainer in da Belmont n in this big race mid summer derby traverse wow da second place horse hood too . Disarm neck braided dress up . Congrats to Steve here n third place . Wow Bob horse not there national treasures I was not sure it could compete with da winner here . Arrogate da winner breeding . Number 6 breeding gun runner two times breeders cup winner am like that horse is breed n ready . Now Jena should bring her horse to da breeders cup race right

Exceptional coverage once again. What Fox has no time to show for lack of air time, this channel does and makes the true horseracing experience complete. Before the race the paddock “scene” is priceless, with the horses so close up with their connections and all, feels like watching a movie. This one includes the top of the stretch run when Arcangelo shows his tremendous turn of foot and opens up 3-4 lengths effectively winning this championship clinching Travers. The head on take from Fox does not show this angle of course. Arcangelo is push bottom, has high cruising speed and a fabulous turn of foot. Just like his unforgettable daddy Arrogate the Great. Javier Castellano ate up Irad in the first part of the race even though Irad brushed against Arcangelo, no surprise there. Irad left the rail open and Castellano rushed his mount out of trouble automatically. Arcangelo is the real deal as is Jena Antonucci. Castellano has been in the Hall of Fame for years and given a live mount is the new “Money” rider, much like Mike Smith used to be for such a long time.

Well, I said Forte, was going to win it, but I was wrong!! Arcangelo, was the victor!! Disarm,, ran 2nd, Tapit Trice, Got 3rd, which was great, considering, all the rotten luck, that he had. Forte, finished 4th, wasn't easy, but he managed it, National Treasure and Scotland, was no factor, and Mage, was a complete disappointment!! Who do you blame? The replacement jockey? Or the Horse? Lots of people, went home, happy, and some, went home, upset, that's the wacky world of Horse Racing!! You win some, you lose some!! Congrats to Arcangelo, and all of his connections!! You proved that dreams really come true!!😊😊

Castellano had a choice. The Derby winner or the Belmont winner. He chose the Belmont winner for this G1. Tells a lot about what he thinks about both mounts.

Lovely iron grey, seemed full of confidence in the paddock. So, they note him as a ridgling - undropped testcle(s) ? ( medically termed monorchid or cryptorchid ) That was/is a term for a gelding job that was supposedly incomplete. So, what is he for real? And what might his future be? Can anyone tell me?

Arcanglo is a rigling which means he has only one testicle that has accented. This does not affect his ability to reproduce at all. I can’t remember which one AP Indy or Storm Cat had the same condition.
