Perfect! How does the FS-1 sound in the neck position? Is it darker compared to the bridge or is it balanced? It's difficult to me to understand from the video

With some gear, the FS1 could sound thick and dark. They are great pickups though

The one with the FS1 is 1979 US strat with ash wood whereas the one with HS3 is a Japanese Strat with basswood from 1996

I love this one! I remember sitting with a tape recorder trying to figure it out, constantly rewinding and trying to figure out one more bar. I never got to the solo and I hadn't played the song in 25 odd years when I found this. You're playing it more or less the way I remember it. I like to to replace the second note in the main part (around 1.20 in the video) with a pull off to the open G string, but I don't think Norum does that. However, when searching KZbin today I came across a live video from 1986 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2iomqWLhc-dmsk) and it looks like his hand is much further up the neck so I guess he actually plays that part starting on the D string 10th fret?
